Morning everyone
and welcome to more newbies..!!!
Hope those grumpy OH's are a little happier today... times like that when I'm glad I don't have one!! (not that I wouldn't like...)
Martyn - hope the bump has gone down a little today - are you still seeing stars?! ((((hugs))) too.
(((((smokey))))) as well, and also for anyone else who wants them.
Back home last night from house-sitting in Kent, got to drive my little sis to Bognor this morning, will have some lunch then get myself back home again as office letters to type today as well.
Got loads of (very ripe) bananas appeared in my fruit bowl (that'll be my mother hinting.....) - so some banana breads will be made too. Not quite sure when though. Maybe might set one off in a minute so I can have some before I leaveDon't think anything else OS will be happening today as running around for everyone else

Morning everyone.
Fresh and bright here this morning so need to get some washing on and hopefully get it on the line.
Piles of ironing to get through, and think my friend is popping in for a coffee later. Ebay parcels to wrap and post and need to get down the park with ds2, he is doing his cycling proficency when they go back to school, only problem being he is not very confident on his bike so need to get a good few hours practise in before they return to school, he can ride but panics easily and his hand-leg coordination isnt good!!!!! Bless him, what worries me most is ds1 did the course last year and rode his bike to school on the days the police were coming in but im not happy about ds2 doing this, he isnt ready for riding that far on it!!!!
Right off to check online banking and get cracking.
Have a good day all

Morning all.
A frosty start down here but the sun is shining so it won't last long. Te$co's today, oh woopee  , Post Office again, and I need a new auxilliary battery for the m/home so that should lighten the bank account  I'm also contemplating buying a laptop rather than trying to install the pc in the m/home.
Apologies for feeling a little down today but as I've almost finished moving all my stuff out, the line is slowly being drawn under another life chapter. The final heartbreak will probably be next week when I have to pack up my tropical fish tank. I've found a good home for the fish so at least I know they'll be okay but it's still a bit sad for me. Thinking back, we moved down here in late 2004 for what was supposed to be a new start. Since then, both my beloved dogs have passed away, I'm now in the process of being divorced and I'm being treated for depression. If that's a new start, I'll return to the old life thank you. And as for "Life begins at 40", hmmm........
Take care and be as safe as possible.

MARTYN - (((Hugs))) to you - things can't possibly get any worse. I hope that, once you've dealt with the 'final heartbreak', you will subconsciously feel you have turned a corner in all this and that the new chapter in your life will begin.

[STRIKE]Off to read the thread - brb[/STRIKE]
Hello N9eave, Hardup Hester, Lyndseyann, charlies_mum, mrs_mix, Diane_239, ((beemuzed)), Chrisca50, Essex-girl, (((mioliere))), Sunnyday, Squiggly Diddly, dlb, vegaslover, and purpleivy. (phew! that takes some doing).
Hello to the newbies and very special hugs to (((((Smokey))))), ((((Martyn)))), we're all here for you.
Well, I decided to start my spring clean yesterday (late?!) and Im wondering what the H**l ive started!!!!  The dustbunnies and their childres/grandchildren/great-grandchildren are mutineeing against being homeless!! I had nightmares they were coming to get me!
But now Ive started, I have to finish (either that or only let visitors into half of the front room  ) Sometimes I wish we were all nomads - I bet they dont suffer from clutter!
Anyway, apart from battling with the housework, am also trying to sort out mortgage as are now outside our fixed term. Have to get this sorted fast as the deals are getting few and far between. Oh well, before getting stuck in, Im off to get a cuppa.
Here's hoping everyone has a great day. Let the sun shine.
Back later

Martyn, the line will soon be drawn under your new life and you can look forward.
Speaking from experience, I can only say, it's a better feeling being treated for depression, rather than living through it with no treatment. Don't be in too much of a hurrry to abandon your medication and when you do come off, reduce dose gradually.
Hope you have a better day."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Martyn - I can only echo what mioliere said... It is heartbreaking, you know that it will be - and therefore can brace yourself... But it does draw a line under recent awful times, and somehow you can begin to move forward. Don't think that you won't be happy again - you will be - it will just take time.
Vegaslover - I'm sure the cat I used to have had OCD - everyone who ever saw him said they'd never known a cat wash itself so much... it was literally constant....!! Sadly he disappeared just over a year ago, I think he'd been having mini-strokes (even though the vet couldn't find anything wrong..) and I have a feeling he went off and had a major one
Why am I still sitting in bed with my laptop when I was getting up half an hour ago to make banana bread?? (although have a suspicion someone said yesterday I had no eggs left... )Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)0 -

Martyn, just to echo what everyone else is saying, things will get better.
Go and sit in my favourite spot in the woods, (the pool with the bench next to it) and I'm sure you will feel better soon. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0
