Well he drove our van but not sure it was fast after putting petrol instead of diesel in it twice :rotfl:

I asked for no substitutions in my last online shop - but still got them?! (I refused them and sent them back!)

No as you use a debit card, they refund it back to that account.
You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !

Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?

    What if they don't?
How do I prove that I actually gave it back?

Because you sign an electronic screen when you have it delivered showing what you've refused and you've accepted the rest. It's all ok.

Tesco online food delivery has changed my life :j I have been ordering online for years. Like moanymoany, I have only paid for delivery twice. I use the money off vouchers from here.

Before I shopped online, I was forever running out to the shops buying loads of food and then chucking loads away, but these days I order weekly and plan my menu and only order what we need for the week! We have saved a bomb and now I can work 30 hours a week without worrying that there is no food in!!

why waste petrol, time energy when we can have it delivered free :T :money:

I didn't want to start my own thread for this question, so I hope it's okay that I stuck it in here.

I had been ordering from Tesco online recently, but I wasn't happy with the disappearance of their vouchers and the quality of their turkey mince (we can't have red meat, so we eat a lot of turkey mince!). So I switched to ASDA and I placed a fairly large order because our cupboards and freezer were completely empty.

So the order arrived today and a very tired looking delivery person came to the door and asked for help. I wasn't pleased, but I started out the door with him, but then he stopped me and asked if there was a man to help. I said no (my DH was in, but he got home from the hospital yesterday after a major liver operation and looks like Frankenstein - definitely not able to do any lifting!!). He explained that Asda health & safety won't let them deliver to fourth floor flats.

I'm wondering whether he was making this rule up. I've been ordering groceries online for at least five years, and although I haven't ordered for Asda in nearly a year I would have thought that if this rule existed there would be some notification on their website. I'm a little peeved about the situation! I work a more-than-fulltime job and am a nearly fulltime carer for my husband, so I choose to pay for a delivery service that I expect to receive. Maybe I'm just grumpy because I can't remember the last time I slept for more than an hour and a half at a stretch. Please tell me I'm not being unreasonable!
  • I've been using asda for home delivery but recently received a good money-off deal for tesco so thinking about trying them for a change. Just went on tesco.com to try shopping but not finding it very easy.. e.g. How do I sort products in order of price low-high. This is so important to do be able to do! I can't see how to do it? Anyone know how?
