i was in a rush earlier when I posted, but if it were me I would use the hire car to go to one of the supermarkets near the airport and then head to the resort. the hire cars are only a couple of minutes walk from the terminal so you should have plenty of time if the flight is on time
That would probably be the best option indeed. As an alternative, within Playa Blanca the mini-supermarket at Faro Park is open until midnight. Its a Spar type place, while not as well stocked as a supermarket it has enough options for a meal for one night. Next door to it is a takeaway chicken shop which sells absolutely delicious freshly cooked whole chickens in a range of flavours. Its amazing how these banks can't even do simple calculations correctly..............0 -
Does anybody who has been to Lanzarote recently know how much Golden Virginia tobacco is at the moment?
A friend has asked us to bring him some back, there's two of us going so I know we will only be allowed 250g each, 500g in total but don't want the money for it to come out of our spending money so he'll be giving us the money up front.
Thanks0 -
Not sure - but have asked some pals for you. xxI'm not easily distracted, I just... ... ... oh my god it's a puppy!!0

Hi All,
Are there any mobile phone type shops down near the marina?
I need to get a data sim card for use whilst I am there.
Thanks all.0 -
Con't get them in the Marina - I think that shop is closed now anyway. Head into the Town Centre. But be aware that mobile coverage isn't great in all areas. Vodafone not too bad... Orange patchy. I can't comment on Movistar, but if you pop into their shop they will be able to advise on the area you will be staying in.
Good luck! xI'm not easily distracted, I just... ... ... oh my god it's a puppy!!0 -
Thanks for that, will head into Town then. Prob go for Vodafone, they seem to have a decent data sim only plan as well.0

Their shop is located almost opposite "Correos" (Post Office). There is at least one girl in there that speaks English too.
Good luck and have a great time xI'm not easily distracted, I just... ... ... oh my god it's a puppy!!0
