I have it on good authority (playa blanca destination expert, tripadvisor) that those guys are spot on service.
Yes - bang on service. I used them earlier this year for some airport transfers and an organised tour for a large group of clients.
Ha ha - yes I'm a Playa Blanca DE on TripAdvisor too

You could also get a bus from Playa Blanca "Estacion de Guaguas". There is just one there and one back on a Sunday day of the market)
If driving. Go from Playa Blanca and take the "La Geria" turning at the roundabout just after Uga. Come out the other side of La Geria and follow signs to San Bartolome and then Famara... and then Teguise.
It is located in the inland town of Teguise and should not be confused with the coastal resort of Costa Teguise. Teguise Market is the large market held once a week on a Sunday. Costa Teguise market is a much smaller artisan market held a couple of evenings a week.
If you indeed want the much smaller Costa Teguise market, then you can get busses from the Estacion de Guagua, but they finish running before the market does so you could well get stranded.
Enjoy!

Possibly might be going go Lanzarote in the summer and was wondering what part or parts of the island is best at night eg pubs, clubs etc. Any areas to avoid.0

Hello DCFC79. If nightlife is your thing... then you would be better spending your time in Puerto del Carmen rather than Playa Blanca. Although we rarely fail to find a party in PB... there is a lot more choice in Carmen.
Have fun!

I've been to both PDC and Costa Teguise. How does PLaya Blanca compare?
thanks0 -
Hi lfc84.
Similar activity levels to Costa Teguise, although a much newer resort. It has the extra benefits of the gorgeous Marina Rubicon, and the ferry to Fuerteventura. Downside is that it is further away from the airport than CT & PDC (45 minutes compared to 30 or 15 minutes respectively)... so pricier to get to in a taxi.
It is smaller than Puerto del Carmen, so less bars etc. Very very few PRs dragging you into bars which is a good thing.
Personally it is my favourite resort... but I'm openly biased.

The cake question is nice and easy. Contact Dave & Marion at Le Moka - they do special occasion cakes all the time. canarynightlife.net/le-moka
Also... Sarah at English Cakes Lanzarote comes very highly recommended. facebook.com/english.cakeslanzarote
As for Indian food... I'm a bit out of touch with those now, as I cook my own Indian food and have done for a couple of years now. I always rated Indian Tandoor House in the pedestrianised area. The place is modest and not shiny new... but the food is very very tasty. One place I won't ever touch is Spices on the seafront. 3 times we tried it... and 3 times it was dire. Shame, because the setting is stunning. Fazz's gets mixed reviews. I've never eaten there so cannot comment on a personal note. The nearest Fazz to you is upstairs in the Rubimar Shopping Centre.

Hiya, just wanted to say on here that we had a lovely holiday in Playa Blanca, I used Sarah at English cakes lanzerote who did a really nice cake for us of my family on the beach, reasonable price and she delivered to the hotel I was very pleased with it!
The Fazzs in the Rubimar shopping centre has shut down but we got a taxi and went to the one at cc la mulata (a bit of a journey from where we were but it was what my dad wanted!) it was very nice and also had nice views over the water. Thanks for your help Elle!0 -
