I had a hard time with my dh last night as well, he took a snipe at all of us, though dd came off worst. He's had a h£LL of a week at work and been ill as well, did 8 hours at work on Sun, but wasn't fiit to go. He seems in better humour tonight... but would be better pleased if dd had done what she was supposed to...

    Evening all.

Just popping in to say hello. For some reason I've gone really tired so have climbed into bed with my lappy.

Had turkey stirfry for tea (again) and DH made rhubarb crumble. At least he tells me it was rhubarb - it tasted of nothing unfortunately. And for some unknown reason he'd peeled it...

Hugs to anyone who wants them

    Evening all,

Smoky, Anniestar, Bairweech and any one else in need or want...hugs.

Cold to-day here and mist at times, went to see Dr to talk to him about reducing medication further before I go to Oz, turns out he is on holiday until 21st April so will have to wait until then. OH and I then went and had breakfast in Avoca and a stroll around, bought nothing else...went to favourite garden centre and spent €48!!...Still most are now planted so a good morning's work.

Hm hamburgers, salad baked potato for dinner, I had the end of Sunday's soup (made by DD4, very nice) as well.

All my squares ready for posting now and what happens? The b***dy iron has died so will have to buy one to-morrow, might send squares unpressed but nicer if done I think

Busygirl...when and where will you be in Oz this Summer...OH and I arrive in Brisbane 24th May and leave from Adelaide on 1st July.

Forgot to say 'welcome' to all newbies.

    Have a good evening all

    Marie

Ooooh sorry about that outburst, but DH and I have been on the edge of our seats and I'm a bag of nerves and excitement!:D

meanmarie We fly out to Perth where my brother lives on 23rd July and we're over there for about a month. We're going over to Sydney for a week to meet up with some friends who are from Essex but will be over there at the same time as us. I've been twice before on my own and my last trip over there was in 1995. We decided to go this year as I'm 40 soon and DH was 50 recently so we needed to set ourselves a goal, otherwise we'd never had gone over.
Once that trip is all paid for (early next year), we're going to attempt to pay off the mortgage earlier than planned as DH would like to retire early at 55 from teaching and possibly do something else before the stress damages his health. Ooops went off on a tangent there! :o

Catowen, perhaps he'd like to cry with my DH;) I have to not enjoy my team's success (Chelsea) too much:o

Just a quick question for Martyn - Have you learned to knit yet? I find it extremely therapeutic during depression lows :)
