Well ladies and gentlemen, if you hadn't guessed by the ill sounding post above I'm back. Washed, changed and currently sat looking like a mong with no energy and starving hungry. But you don't want to know about that do you? lol
The race was REALLY hard. I mean not normal hard... STUPIDLY hard. 2km of it was uphill, 1km on road and the rest was uneven fields. I could've done better. I really struggled on some bits and had to walk numerous times. I did run the first 2km without walking. Then spent the rest doing a mix of running/walking. The last km was just horrendous. I hurt all over and at one point was seriously considering stopping. The only thing keeping me going was not wanting to let mum down, but I spent a lot of the course nearly in tears telling myself I was doing rubbish. Stupid I know... but funny what emotion does to you.. As I crossed the finish line I literally burst into tears when I saw the time. Just the sheer enormity of the target I'd been set compared to how hard I'd found it and how much I'd really had to push myself really wasn't possible to imagine until you do it. At one point after I'd finished I couldn't breathe and thought I was going to collapse, so maybe I pushed myself a bit toooooo hard.. but I did it. I finished. Excuse how rough I look in the pic.. I'd literally been sobbing my heart out for a good 5-10 minutes after I'd finished with the emotion of it all. Even more so when Ste and Ashli gave me a hug. Ashli even said 'very well done mummy' in her cutest little voice when she gave me a hug which of course set me off more.. lol
I'm not posting the time yet.. going to leave you in suspence. lolTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I did it in 32 mins.
I hurt so bad today... my hip is so painful. Think I may have pushed myself a bit tooooo much at the race last night. Ah well.
I do have a dilemma. My 'prize' for doing the race in under 35 mins is the tattoo I want which is going to take about 2-3 hours at £60 a sitting (1 hour). I want to book it... and I've got the spare cash for the first sitting in the account... but in my eyes it's not really spare as we have gone a bit mad with the credit cards recently so would I be better off just putting it towards the debt?
I really want the tattoo, and I've earned it.... but I can't get rid of the ''You should pay it off the debt'' feeling...
What do you guys think?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Just get the tattoo sar, the debt can and will wait. It isn't as if you aren't paying it off or will struggle to, it just means it will take a few weeks longer. You earned the tattoo and it is a memorial for your mum too, so, go get it.:A

Just a thought but why don't you donate the money you have for the tattoo to Race For Life/Cancer Charity in memory of your Mum instead of getting a tattoo??0
