    hi there,

Haven't posted on this thread before but have read most of it today. I am really interested in doing the OU course next time it comes around but wondered how useful it has been to you so far. Is any of it relevent to your CAB training, does it complement it? I think that it might be good for me but it's always useful to talk to someone who has a bit of knowledge about it before you part with the money. I have been in debt, out of debt and in it again now. I have never had any formal 'training' with money and it's about time I did. Maybe I could even end up like you and help others out eventually.

    Look forward to your reply

It's brilliant and I'd recommend it to anyone. It covers every aspect of financial planning over the course of a lifetime and really puts into perspective why things are the way they are and why we live in the society we do. It also has practical tips about budgetting etc and is well worth doing.:)

Thanks guys. :) A bit nervous as I have done jack all running in about 2 weeks so not expecting to beat the 35min time unless I take rocket shoes with me lol.
In brighter news I came away with prizes from last nights oscars... I got number 1 new party organiser in the area so got an Oscar, a big bunch of flower, vanity bag and certificates... and then I went and once I vibe in the raffle.. :rotfl:
:D Certainly brightened up a miserable day!

Also at 12.05 last night our good friends Ant and Josie George gave birth to a gorgeous healthy baby boy named Kai Benjamin. He was 7lb 9 and only 2 days overdue... Congratulations Ant and Josie if you read this!!! :T:T:T:T

Good luck with your running tonight. I did it with my 9 year old two weeks ago and you'll be amazed at how the atmosphere keeps you going. I have to say though, my 9 year old nearly killed me as she wanted to run it all. She was fine the next day but I could hardly walk!!!! Bless her. Have a great time xx
