Well.. the past 2 weeks or so have been pretty shocking for us money saving wise.. I daren't even imagine how much we've spent... I know HOW MUCH we've got in the living and bills account... but not what bills are left to go... and I've no idea how much has been spent on Ste's new asda card but I know it's not going to be pretty.. the egg card.... well.. that's just stupid now.
Cash - £20
Living Account - £74.84
Bills account - £49.90 (having just checked, one bill left to go which is £25 so £14.90 spare)
Egg card - £691.46 :eek::eek:
Asda card - But I reckon at least £500..

Oh dear lord.. *hides her face in shame*
Looks like we definately went into holiday mode... who knew a free holiday would end up costing so much.... _pale_

Oh gooooooooood.
Have had a stressful morning and needed to vent! lol
Think I've fixed my dean. It was buzzing a lot so have been tinkering this morning. Lowered the pickups as they were slightly higher on the E string side and it now seems to be ok but will give it a proper run through later. Have been calling/leaving messages/texting my AS hostesses and had 2 cancellations in the space of 10 mins and haven't managed to speak to any of the others. Have got 7 party packs to do and seriously wishing I could just do a normal job right now. Feeling pretty useless right now.

Just wanting to crawl into a big hole and hide away.

It's just because you have so much on hun - if you look back through your diaries (not right now - you're already busy enough ), you will see a pattern of you taking on a lot, getting stressed and feeling down, and then picking yourself up, getting on with things and feeling like you are flying again.

You've only just come back off holiday, and it's been your first break in a long time, so inevitably it will take a little while to get back into the swing of things.

Chin up sweetie, everything will be okay.....just keep going.

Not true - I've always loved your particular brand of 'saying it as it is but still sounding caring'.

Seriously though IA, you will be fine - go and do just one of the things you need to do right now - then your list will look a bit less daunting.

Sometimes when you feel overwhelmed, you don't know where to start, so you just don't start. So just by doing SOMETHING, you will pull yourself out of the downward spiral.

Haven't posted on this thread before but have read most of it today. I am really interested in doing the OU course next time it comes around but wondered how useful it has been to you so far. Is any of it relevent to your CAB training, does it complement it? I think that it might be good for me but it's always useful to talk to someone who has a bit of knowledge about it before you part with the money. I have been in debt, out of debt and in it again now. I have never had any formal 'training' with money and it's about time I did. Maybe I could even end up like you and help others out eventually.

Glad you had a nice time..Those piccies took me right back, as one of our first family holidays with the kids was at Prestatyn..we have identical ones.. on the grass outside the chalets and on the windy beach..brings back lovely memories. Ours were a similar age at the time as well.
