Have a wonderful few days away, you deserve it! L x0

Thanks Lula, had a really great few days. Everything rang perfectly right from travel to fab hotel, fab place, fab food, great weather and lovely people
The only small blooper was I thought I had paid in full for the hotel and I hadn't! Not too much of a disaster as only a balance of £150 to pay but still £150 I hadn't accounted for this month

Well my stooze credit card balance now sits at nil :j
This is the first time in approx. 12 years that I have not had a credit card balance of some description and although I've never paid interest on it - most of the time I've had the full amount owing elsewhere in savings accounts - it still feels great to not have any balances anywhere
Just updated my signature. I've made the main £500 OP, £250 to savings and £250 to a share option
I'm not yet sure if I will OP or save any more his month as I've had that unexpected (aka forgotten!) £150 holiday balance, some spending money, a birthday and a few meals out this month
Regards

My Ifone has died :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: What a complete disaster! I've had various calls with Apple this morning and though very helpful we are no further forward; so, I've got an appointment at the Apple shop to see what can be done
Got a couple of electrical problems to sort at home too, nothing of a dangerous nature just things like house alarm not working etc
Hope you are all doing well with you MF plans
Regards

Good luck with your long to do list, abouttimetoo, I daren't write mine out, it'll put me off starting!
Big congratulations on clearing the CC balance. I'm attempting to do the same without sacrificing my savings and should have it done by Christmas. Will you be able to put more towards other pots now?Mortgage Apr 18 £417,894 BTL Mar 18 £162,857

Hi Floppy
Thanks for stopping by and welcome to the MFW gang too
Yes, that £200 per month is now free for other pots, however, I've just started a £250 month share option so it's kind of swings and roundabouts IYSWIM
Other tasks achieved today- Some paperwork sorted (note the some!)
- Expenses paperwork sent
- Finally been able to make some on-line payments as problems with a new debit card which took some time on-line and on phone to start
- House hovered
- Dishwasher emptied
Oh well, saves me a phone call and I'm hoping to get away later this month so would have had to shop around so the only unknown is could I have got it cheaper and with a cashback
Regards

Not much further forward, a three hour journey, £8 travel expenses all to confirm that the phone is dead and it's a manufacturing fault. Apple say it's of warranty but my service provider says in warranty so I'm now waiting for a call to establish what's what. So.... looks like no phone for me for a few days
It's scary how much of our lives are on these sort of devices, I can't tell you how many times a day I go to use it only to remember can't use it. I've got a few personal calls to make too but can't get at the numbers and gawd knows how many people think I haven't replied to text messages

I've got quite a way to go until pay day so don't want to count my chickens but I think I may be able to manage extra OP or funds to savings this month so that's good news

The monthly gas and electricity bills are in, the gas was £33.88 so continuing to come down now the weather is improving. I don't have the electricity bill to hand but after payment the account is £26.89 in credit so I'll update the bill here later
I need a trip to Mr S's today but hopefully won't spend more than £30. Other than that I shouldn't need to spend anything more this weekend
My accounts are still looking fair and I've just been reminded that I'm owed some money from holiday spends to I need to work out what this is and it will be repaid. It should be about £150 so that's good :j
The weather look good today so hope it's the same for wherever you all are
