Well a NSD for me today, yesterday nearly was but then ended up spending a small amount for a couple of fridge items, it was only just over £5 so not too bad.

The car does need petrol but I'm away for a few days this week so it will wait until the weekend

The big shocker this week was the gas bill, a few pence short of £86 :eek::eek: This is by far and away the biggest monthly gas bill I've ever had, it's well saying I've been working from home more in the last month!

    Hi all

Quite a productive week for me work wise though shattered as ever.

I've managed to shred two big black bags off personal paperwork so that feels good!

Had a nice lunch out yesterday and it was £7 so not too bad. A few NSD's this week with my only spends being the lunch, some supermarket shopping which was £30 and petrol for £25.

Pay day not too far off now so can't wait to send the usual OP's :j

Another busy week ahead and away for most of it

Off to family for lunch today though I made it last night, I've started a bit of a health kick so they will be eating my healthy food too :D

Oops, been MIA action or is that AWOL ;)

Just popped on for a quick signature update having made my main monthly OP last week. £509.92 so far this month, may make a couple of smaller ones too but at the moment I seem to be adding those to savings rather than Oping

Hope you are all well and look forward to catching up with some diaries when I get a chance

Well guess what, I'm having a skive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got so much work to do but that's nothing new but I just feel sooooo not in the mood that I decided to pop on here for a quick lurk and post!

I've never posted that often but at the moment can't seem to get into the swing of it; the one thing I never missed was a post and updating my sig on payday but I haven't even managed that on time recently

I know this happens and I'm just putting it down to being 5 years in and getting on with it, I'm still very focussed though and still being MSE :A

Actually, I've got a cheek saying that as I've just remembered I've had an attack of the *I want to spend some monies*:o so have booked myself a few beauty treatments to go along with my new healthier approach (ok, I know that beauty treatments don't equal health but it's what I'm telling myself :D)

So I suppose I'd better post some money stuff ay

The stooze credit card balance is down to £184 so bang on target to be paid off next month in line with the end of the 0% rate. This will release an extra £200 per month for Op's or savings so looking forward to that

My credit card balances are all at NIL and I don't have any policies, car, house etc to renew until nearly the end of the year

Various reward card B00ts, N3ctar etc are all looking good with about £110 on them and I know my N3ctar is at £57 so that will account for a nice Mr S shop

My experiment with NW Flex account didn't work e.g. opened 4 each for myself and family member to try and take advantage of the 5% being paid on them all, unfortunately, by the time I did it they had closed the loophole so the monies have been brought back into the main accounts until we find another home for them (though have left the £2500 in the one account you are allowed) If I could have found further decent savings rates I would have taken the free o/d's on them all and saved the monies elsewhere

My [EMAIL="H@lifax"]H@lifax[/EMAIL] Reward is working fine re 2 DD's now being paid and it still being a Reward account though annoyingly my mothers has reverted back to a normal account which I don't understand as her DD's were paid before mine so I guess I will have to ring them and pretend to be her as normal :rotfl:

My healthy regime is going well, nearly two months in of exercise and good food and starting to feel the benefits, why oh why (never mind how!) do we let ourselves slip to ridiculous levels of unfitness

Oops, looks like I'm in a postathon mood

I've re-started a share option at work so that is £250 less on my normal salary. Not quite sure how to play it as have the £200 pm to credit card stopping next month so not sure whether to offset on against the other?

Also I'm having a dilemma about savings as I think I have too much IYSWIM, in the main I'm getting a wee bit more interest on savings than I pay on the mortgage but I want to see the balance coming down!

Actually, not sure whether I posted this before but I think I will postpone the decision for another couple of months until I have a few things completed e.g. the long awaited decorating is about to be started and I've promised myself new bedding etc when that is done. I'll also then get all the carpets and furniture cleaned and then see where I am with savings

For those who follow my thread I have still not replaced the car  so that will need some expense too at some point

I'm having a few days away next month so looking forward to that. It's all paid for and don't expect to spend too much while there

I must see about getting a proper holiday in the sun booked, feels like a long time since I've had a holiday of that kind

Just read about the British person who has won £88M on the Euromillions, how nice ay, I'm sure they could pay all our mortgages off in the MFiT T3 challenge and it would only make a wee dint :rotfl:

Crikey, check me out, second post made in a month :p

Credit card stooze now sits at a lovely neat £100; I just couldn't resist sending another £84 to it last week so all on track for it to be paid off in full next week :j

I sent my MFiT T3 update through a couple of days ago but I've not updated on that thread yet so will do that in a minute and catch-up with how the other challengers are doing. I normally only report my mortgage balance which is easy but this time round I'm also deducting the savings from the balance too which is my virtual offset and I think I'm confusing myself so I hope I've send the right update in :rotfl:

    Hope you are all well

Right, just done a quick update on the MFi3 T3 thread and also ended up sending a second google docs as I'm just not convinced I sent the right number first time. If you're looking in FB, really sorry about that :o

Pay day not too far off now and strangely it seems to have come round really quickly this month

I'm going away for a few days break too so that will make it come round all the quicker. The break is all paid for and spending all sorted. Now in that mad place of trying to get everything done before I leave for holiday

When I get some proper hols next month e.g. time at home to think! I must settle down and revisit some numbers as my MF date is 1/8/18 and it's been a while since I checked if everything was on track

I've also just had a TCB payout so must claim that. It didn't track and I had to put a missing claim in. Its the first time its happened and I hadn't heard anything since the claim was acknowledged so was just wondering what would happen next when I got the ping to say money ready to payout. It's only about £9 but every little helps

I've also OP'd a small amount of £11, this being the difference to clearing stooze this month to what the normal monthly payment would be, though... I did get ahead of myself as ended up sending another amount to round it down to £100 so strictly speaking I shouldn't have OP'd the £11 until after the coming pay day. Hey ho, £11 is not going to kill me

My latest gas bill was nearly £20 less than month before so fingers crossed that's going to be the trend for the next few months as better weather approaches (note I didn't say hot and sunny!)

I seem to be racking up a number of 'home jobs' to do, I don't normally list them here but think on this occasion I will as they are swilling round my head
    • [STRIKE]ring H@lifax pretending to be family member to see why the £5 R£wards wasn't
paid out this month (funds and DD's all paid as per T&C's)[/STRIKE] Hmm, not starter and not going to argue for a fiver, they've changed the account back so £5 will resume next month
    • [STRIKE]visit local work office to send expenses receipts[/STRIKE]
    • close a number of old bank accounts where rate has expired
    • open two B0S Vantage accounts for family member
      • one down, one to go
    • contact N@T West for family member to see why they have not send internet banking reset details after getting locked out
      • one done, one to go, can only open one a day so the other can wait until I get back
    • When on-line banking password reset, transfer funds out of rubbish savings account rate
    • ring sharedealing company to find out why some things they have sent me include other account numbers in my name that I have no awareness of
    • clean car in and out so that it looks half way decent so that I can finally get car hunting and get part-ex price
    • [STRIKE]take pair of shoes and trousers back to shop, shoes hurt and trousers not for me
      and not the right size[/STRIKE]
My deadline for these tasks is 30th June as what with holidays then two weeks working away I'm not going to get much opportunity
