*rushes off to make note on shopping list to buy wellwoman from Asda*

Sounds just like me. I used to have a 5 day light cycle, then after DD2 was born I had IUD fitted and now I have an awful week the week before being moody, snappy and irritable then spend the whole of my now 10-14 day period feeling exhausted. Its not even the one with hormones in it. I bought an iron supplement yesterday to see if it helps with the tiredness so I'll see how it goes. (not taken it yet though as its a liquid one so I don't feel sick with it and I take it with fresh orange juice as Vitamin C helps absorb the iron).

I take spatone and it does help make sure its definately with 100% orange too as the concentrate stuff make sit taste so bad! xx

Evening all got back much later than planned. Kids all in bed, hubbie still not home.

Crafty - I've had at least 3 wasps in my kitchen this week - all very sleepy - I think they are coming out of hibination and are looking to build nests so I am disposing of them! I think mine are coming through a little hole in the ceiling where a pipe goes up into the flat roof.

Almost finished in the kitchen then I think I'll head up and do a sudoku or two

Just caught up on the posts.

Michelle i know what you mean about the littleys being sods. my littl'un now he is in a biting, pulling hair mode and laughs like a mad man when he does it. But as he is only 18 months old i am finding it hard as to how to deal with it, out of all the 4 kids never had this before.

Pigpen Homework don't get me started, i have a dd in the year above my ds#2 and i knew he was behind but only thought it was in literacy which he is doing toe by toe for and to be honest have only been told he is behind in literacy. Anyways me and dd, we were doing times tables the other day and i realised he only knew his 2, 5 and 10 times tables. In ten days i have taught him his 3 and 4 but only in sequence next week we will go onto them not being in sequence. The thing is i am now worried that he is being held back because of his literacy more than i thought, which i feel i must add i work on this at home with him too, we spend at least 15/to 20 minutes a day reading from him and then i read to him.

Also just a rant my dd is on the top table for all subjects but today brought home mental maths test papers it was mainly on percentages, 11 out of 20, when i asked what went wrong she had no idea how to break them down to work them out. It took me about 5 minutes to explain it to her and i gave her 5 sums to work out she did them all and got them right!

I also used a numberline for dd and now do for ds. I bought Andrew Brodie (which is what our school uses) mental maths books only a couple of pounds each and they have also helped me too on how to get it across.

So to stop babbling, i have decided each day we will do 15 minutes English, 15 Maths and 15 Science. Basically, i know it seems alot but i see the pressure my dd feels especially about SATS. Also it means i will be able to keep an eye on where they are at.

Who was looking out for cheaper kitchens and appliances? I never thought of it the other day but Comet have a clearance website, may be worth a look at.

OH is watching jackass.... it makes me gag.

Someone poke me and tell me to go do the dishes so I don't have to do them tomorrow as it's my birthday and all. OH hasnt got me anything, he will take me into town tomorrow... though earlier when I said he could bring me toast and coffee in bed I got laughed at. And not even the waspish reply to his 'when was the last time you brought me breakfast in bed?' 'Uhm, your BIRTHDAY maybe?!' jogged his memory. No it was DS1 who reminded him...

Right off to do the dishes then get my hair dried before bed.

    on one, two... three...

still here... again, one two three

Pigpen - When will you have time for a job? Well done though, hope you enjoy it.
Johanne - Sorry to hear about your FIL. As you say he's no longer in pain but do as the family tell you and relax. Just remember all the wonderful memories you all have of him. x
moam - Glad the news was good.
Chunky79 - Thanks for the tip for comet clearance, I forgot about that website.

Haven't read all to catch up, far too many!

Had lots to do, been busy at work!!!! Last couple of days I have

    Done Kitchen (not floor)
    De-cluttered/tidied lounge
    Cleared computer desk
    Cooked lots
    Sorted wardrobe - clothes
Sorted black sack clothes in garage
Now have a few things that fit me and 2 black sacks too small to go in the loft, but they will fit me.
    WM x 3
    TD x 3

    To do tomorrow:
    Ironing (hardly any, mostly DH's)
    Sweep floors downstairs
    Wash floors downstairs
    Dust lounge
    Hoover stairs/landing
    Hoover bedrooms
    DD1's bedding
Swap dd1's chest of drawers and desk round, they are bugging me!!
Sort shoes and boots, have about 6 pairs of shoes and 6 pairs of boots and I actually only wear 3 pairs of the boots!
Sort remaining scraps of toys in a box in my room with the girls
Get DH to put clothes in loft (mine and girls)
Clean Bathroom - It's sooooo grotty! (must buy new shower curtain)
    I MUST START EBAYING!!!!!!!
Go to butchers for chicken and veg.

I think thats enough for now. Spoke to one of my bestest mates last night, she now lives about 40 miles away and we don't see much of each other. My birthday is 17th May (as you know JillD!) and DH is going on a day out to the races with his pool team!! Charming. Anyhow's I had already said I didn't mind. Bestest mate has decided to take the day off work and come over and we are going for a meal then coming back to mine to get slaughtered! and talk about our holidays (pre children and dh years!!! wonderful - the holidays i mean!) I am soo excited, I haven't seen her since christmas and my girls absolutely love her and they can spend the day with her, so that will be good.

Babbled enough, wanted to look at ou site but will have to wait for the morning now, was going to have an early night!!!!

JillD - I LOST 1LB THIS WEEK AND I'M REALLY PLEASED. Sorry it's late and I know I'm still 1lb more than when we started but I think I've got my head round it now - WATCH THIS SPACE!!!!!!!!

    Catch up again tomorrow, hopefully.
Nite nite ladies sleep well. x

*** a kick before midnight for tia!!*** get them done so you can have the day off, tomorrows dishes someone else can do or they can wait! Hope you do have a lovely birthday :)

taffy well done on the weight loss :D sorry to hear that your DP will be away on your birthday, unfortnately I got dragged with my partner to his model club my birthday so that'll teach me to say 'I wanted to spend it with you' :rotfl: great to hear you've found an alternative :)

Well I stopped studying at 8pm to deal with the boys, great thing about boys who like routine (when they're in a good mood) is at 8pm they demand their routine :rotfl: DS2 shouting 'midcin and wash' DS1 'cuzzi on, blanket' :rotfl: they have to have the TV on even if not watching it so they can do '8 dot dot zero zero pm' Anyway did another hour after that until about 10pm then it was a choice of put the fire on in the conservatory or come in, well coming in won! Pleased with how much I got done, long way to go but plodding on well. Finished filling the DW from dinner, tidied some of the kitchen, put a washer load in (must switch for DPs pongy trainers in a mo) then been catching up online, sending emails, dealing with freecycle stuff, trying to do some sort of meal plan etc since....ok basically sat on my bum.

Suppose I should go get those trainers in the wash and have a look at the weekend list....
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
