    Morning all

Just caught up with everything from yesterday.

Johanne - hugs and condolences on your loss.
Luby-Lou - enjoy your weekend ! Are you still collecting them? I have another 21-er
MoM - so relieved for you that it was just a scare.
JJeff - hope you're on the road to recovery now. Your Aunt's place sounds wonderful!
Pigpen - you said that one day they leave home. Could you tell me when please? My DS is 28 this year and still lives here. He married and moved his wife in too. DD moved out about 18 months ago. She's now asked if she can move back in for a few months early next year as she wants to do a course......

    Tia - happy birthday!:bdaycake:

I'm tired this morning .It was a long day at work yesterday - left home at 7am and didn't get home until about 6.30pm. I would have had a lie in this morning but couldn't because I'm working from home on Monday and needed some equipment from a third party supplier. They were too late in getting it ready to deliver to work so I said they could send it to my home address today - expecting a respectable 9-5 delivery slot. But no, they thought they'd be helpful and send it by TNT's before 10am service. So I've been up since 7am as I don't know the earliest time TNT delivered. It actually arrived at 8.15am

I'm off to have my bath now and then contemplate the day's events. I have my own list which I give below. Once I've done that, I'll look at Pigpen's list. As I've been here nearly 19 years, there's bound to be a 10yo outstanding DIY job!
    • Invoice
    • Ebay
    • Email work about some snagging from yesterday
    • RO planning objection
    • Tesco
    • Pay BT
    • Pay Virgin Media and sort out package options
    • Pay gas bill
    • Check elec bill
    • Work out what seeds I have and what I need to buy

I must be addicted to this site.

Quickly popping in while DS watching his baby signs DVD and DH out doing the food shop (:T result. He'll probably spend less than me too as i keep telling myself i need junk food) , after he got up at 6:30 with DS and let me have a lie in till nearly 8.

I am so stiff today. I think DH is finally realising i am struggling a bit as i needed the loo in the night and physically could not sit up to get out of bed by myself.

Managed some ironing and bag packing last night. Was ironing some of DH's shirts that have surfaced since moving the pile between rooms several times, and i realised that the one i was doing he wore last to a wedding last March. Also clothes worn on hols last June. I am such a sloven, without any real excuse apart from too much time on here. So plan to tackle a bit a night for the next few weeks till it is gone.

We just need to get ready for the wedding, and load the car up. Will go about 11:30 and be back some time tomorrow afternoon probably. Have a wonderful weekend folks. I will be doing my darndest not to spend a bomb and to not go into labour from dancing energetically. ;) Only joking - no disco anyway as the entertainment is DH's pub quiz.

tia happy birthday to a fellow arean.

    Happy Birthday tiamai-d!:bdaycake:

moam - I'm so pleased that you had good news!

michelle - have a lovely day!

Sun shining here. Just off to do the weekly shopping, and then this afternoon going to see mum. I had to postpone yesterday, as DS1 hadn't done enough of his A level coursework, so a bit of whip cracking needed. He's never been very good at deadlines and self motivation - seems to think if he waits long enough the work will miraculously do itself! But he's definitely been worse since he was ill.

I forgot to report yesterday but I did the bathroom to level 3, and also did an hour and a half weeding on the allotment. The kids should do their own rooms, and I'll sling the bedlinen in the washing machine in a minute.

DS1 has been selling on ebay this week - bits of Hornby that he no longer wants, and has made £70!!
