2 out of 3 ain't bad (AnW'sMum will know who sang that) on my ebay stuff. OH sold his item as well.

I know that as well. Are you inferring something? I said I'm counting backwards soon!

    Evening all,

Hope you have all had a good day. Hugs to anyone who needs or wants one.

Finished stripping woodchip in sun lounge - and DS and I have removed the curved arch. I want to go back to the squared arch as we're planning to put a door on at some point. Now we just need to take the rad off, strip behind that, wash down, prime, paint and put the rad back. Not much huh?

Back to work tomorrow, so got to get back in the routine. At least if I keep on top with flying, I'll have time to carry on with the decorating jobs!

I'm off to get the ironing board and tackle the ironing pile while Foyle's War is on.

    Night all. x

dusty - 2 out of 3 ain't bad - I know that one too!! Meatloaf, if I remember correctly...

We managed to get to the allotment quickly this morning, so DS1 could do some research for his A level work, and I did a bit of useful weeding. After lunch, I spent the whole afternoon in the garden. I brushed down the terrace along the back of the house - more like scrubbing really, as it is so slippery with algae after the winter. Really hard work, I think I'll hire a pressure cleaner next year. Then, pruned an overgrown shrub, so that my greenhouse actually gets some light. By then it was gone five, and getting chilly, so sowed my seeds to go in the new propagator. My back hurts... have to get the wheat pillow on it.

I haven't heard from DD today. I think it's today that she flies from Delhi to Calcutta, so she may not have been able to - or perhaps she's out of credit. Maybe tomorrow...

I'm supposed to be garden working tomorrow, for a friend, and I really don't feel like it... maybe I'll have more energy in the morning!

Pooh bear - well done you. I think Champagne is the lowest cal alcoholic drink hence why stars/supermodels drink it.

I wish I could afford it DK. Thanks for suggestion lil_me. I have been to the pub and had two mugs of tea. Now I am home and DS3 has opened a can of Stella Artois. He doesn't like it so I think we will have some meat casseroled in beer tomorrow. I am not sure if Stella is the beer to use. I have had a glass of dry white wine since I got home. We have some spirits left over from Christmas, maybe I should buy some sugar free mixers.

JulieJim - Thanks for that, yes it was helpful. I will keep you in mind.

Pigpen - How sore does that nail look? But more importantly how the hell do you do anything with nails like that? LOL
