Good afternoon everyone, hope you're all ok.

hugs again johanne, hope you're ok.

think i've given oh a kick of his conscience after i scraped the old sealant off the bath, it had only been there several years. today he's taken the old storage units from the children's rooms and fixed them in place in our utililty space ( i hesitate to call it a room as it's a space about four feet deep at the end of the garage - the only bit we didn't convert into my clinic). anyway, i now have the units attached to the garage doors so i have about 24 plastc boxes in racks to shove all the cleaning stuff, hangers, mop heads, multi buys etc. it looks pretty good.

he's also pulled out the kitchen sink to fix the dripping tap (been dripping about two years!!!!). we took the bits to b&q (i've got £100 vouchers from scanning shopping) but they don't do this size so we have to wait for the plumbers to be open tomorrow. this means i don't have water in my kitchen but i can live with that if the drip gets fixed. we'll spend the vouchers on skirting board instead.

dd is enjoying playing with her presents. she's learning to knit and i'm knitting a pink fluffy scarf for her. can't believe i can remember how to knit considering i've not done it for nearly 20 years!! bit sore on my wrist though very relaxing.

pigpen, if you're around which room is it tomorrow as i'm on a course all day so would like to get ahead.

hugs to all who need them and hugs to everyone else too xx

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Soappie you made me smile with the pin thing - you come across as far to sensible to take part in such things..

Sensible? Moi? Blimey! People have called me many things in my life but I don't think they've ever used that word! Pig headed, scarey, determined, arrogant, insecure, formidable, intelligent, but never sensible! I shall take that as a compliment! Thank you!

But I do believe in little things like that. If only because it helps you partition the thought and then go away and do something else. Once you don't focus on something, your subconcious has a chance to delve and work it out for you.

I just found her website, WOW, never even heard of that programme, she's fab, what a great personality, she had me in tears laughing at the auditions. Going to have a mooch through some of the weightloss stuff on her site

I must check her website out, didnt think of that, doh! The Biggest Loser and The Biggest Loser UK was on Living TV. Kind of like the Apprentice in that the group are split into 2 and have to do challenges. The team that loses the least amount of weight have to vote someone off every week. Then when it gets down to the final 3 or something, they have to go home and they all return 3 months or so later. The person who loses the biggest %age of weight is the winner. Its a great show, although I found the American one slightly irritating.

I'd guess that's a virus, not much ABs would do for it but if you're worried take her to the GPs. I remember when DSs ones were glowing the doc said to me 'it's just the body getting rid of the infection' http://www.ds-health.com/nose.htm all about snots :rotfl:

skintscotslass reading it I can guess an American version would be annoying, there was something about 'weightloss weekends' that are ran, from what I read they charge £1000!!!!! Eeeeeek!!!!

Right, the suns out so will do the outside jobs now as 'heavy rain' forecast for tomorrow, then will get the boys dinners on
One day I might be more organised...........

The sites on Downs, been using it to grab some research for a friend as her sons been diagnosed with mosaic downs and I came across the snot page. The guy who's written the pages says (because you have to pressume they are being honest) he's a paediatrician, a lot of what he's written about has really helped when I have been looking for info and I came across the snots page by accident :rotfl:

I'm avoiding going out and dealing with doggy stuff etc aren't I :rotfl: ***Ok I am going outside NOW!***

Madbath I am the same! :rotfl: Or rather, I have been the same but it's just starting to go away.

I think it's sinitus. Does she have that echoy thing in her head too? I think you can get antibiotics for it if needed, but unless she is ill, I'd just let it run its course. Galasud decongestant from the chemist is good for kids (and adults).
