So it's the 0 thing, now there is a suprise :rotfl: Stupid teacher saying put a zero in, did she say where to put it? So how was he supposed to know? Bah! See my son would have done the same thing.
Isaac Newtons university shut down because of the plague! EDIT!! http://gardenofpraise.com/ibdnewt.htm there you go knew itI studied him when I was at school

My DSs don't get homework as such, DS1s doesn't get any just a reading book which doesn't have to be in by a set time etc just when he's finished. DS2 gets reading weekly and 5 spellings to learn. Loads less than they were at the last school. I do work with them at home still of course but they don't see it as learning
Tia, I remember things that were done in certain ways, but my Dad taught me most of them, I always know which months have 31 days using my fingers, and when the mites go up the tights fall down (stalagmites grow up and stalagtites grow down) and spring foward to fall back (when the clocks change)One day I might be more organised...........

thank god i have you lot to make me smile. DH currently writing his best mans speech, and stressed cos he doesn't know enough stories about the groom. I have a shirt to iron and a bag to pack if and when i can muster enough energy to go upstairs - once i go i won't be returning back downstairs.
apparently i have been helpful with some of my suggestions for the speech.
I think tomorrow might be a long and hard one, but that is our last major thing before baby. Right - might go and see the ironing as i have no desire to watch anything on telly and an early night would benefit me after the last 2 midnight ones.
See you all probably on Sunday - don't think i will get time to pop in tomorrow.

Pigpen, I'm glad your son is slowly getting there. I find sometimes kids get a mental block about something and its really difficult then to teach them. They decide they can't do it or don't understand, and won't really listen to any explanation or help they are given. Often a break from it for a day helps. Must admit though that my experience is with older ones. I find often its also a matter of self esteem and confidence in that subject. A teacher or parents job is then to try and give them the confidence to be able to overcome that 'block'.We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0

Johanne - hugs and condolences at this difficult time. Your FIL sounds like he was a lovely man and you will have many treasured memories. God bless you all.
