lil-me try this website for compost info - it's linked to where i got my bin from and we have never had problems. http://www.recyclenow.com/start_recycling/in_the_garden.html

pigpen poor excuse. I sometimes go round and initial to say i have seen each child write their h/w in their planner, and add things like due in date to those who haven't written it. I have also got an LSA to write in the h/w for a kid, or done it myself, so the lack of time is not always a good excuse. It depends how many SEN kids are in a class though. We have banding now, and then can sometimes be up to 5 in a class.

Right, best get DS's tea done. Got some veg concoction out of the freezer earlier, and there is some leftover mash from tonight, so that should be all of his F & veg portions from today.

    Pigpen, how old is DS3?
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Thanks Lil_me.. he is currently destroying his room.. I just hope his destroying is confined to in there.

DD3 has been 'upset' by his carrying on and has stomped cereal into the kitchen floor which she has cleaned up.. She then shoved DD4 off the sofa because I made her do something. DS2 sneaked in so I didn't know he was in so spent 10 minutes looking for him and calling him, of course he never replied but he is in. DS1 came in with his mouth bleeding.. just badly chapped! DD1 came in sopping wet from the rail and hail!

Can it get 'more exciting' in here??!!!

I intend flouncing into school in Monday, I can't have this again.. the usual answer is 'it takes too long to write it down for everyone'.. the thing is.. they write it for themselves why can it not be photocopied for DS3 or even print an extra copy off the computer?

Oh dear pigpen - is it cider o'clock yet?

Pigpen, if I were him, I would leave the homework and then tell the teacher 'Well as You couldn't be bothered to explain it to me, I couldn't be bothered doing it. Learn by example my Mother always says. Speaking of my Mother, guess who wants a word?'

    Hope he calms down soon.

    Weekend list.

Will glossing the bathroom ceiling do as my job? I have been putting it off since the day we moved in.

Tia.. it'll do providing it gets done!! The teacher kept him back 10 minutes to expain it to him.. basically they have to order numbers eg.. they are given -2, 0, 3, -8, 8 and have to put them in the correct order.. like a timeline.. but he simply doesn't 'get it'..
