MOAM great news, remember that feeling well after being told I had liver cancer, then being told it was non malignant, makes you see things a lot differently doesn't it? Life is about here and now, my outlook has changed completely.
Pigpen, deep breathing. Will the teacher still be there? Maybe it'd be worth in future asking for written explainations of homework? Children who find verbal communication difficult often benefit from this. It wouldn't take long for the teacher when preparing work to write clear instructions for those who need it. Fingers crossed he calms down soon and it doesn't effect him all weekend. Make sure you point out to the teacher what these issues cause. I don't think some of them have any understanding at all.One day I might be more organised...........

Mum_on_a_mission wrote: »Thanks so much for all your support this week ladies, thankfully the health scare is just a scare and nothing sinister going on at present.
But one good thing has come out of it - a real heart to heart with DH, and I suspect it has changed how I feel about many many things. I am going to try and use it as a positive step and not dwell on what could have happened.
Life is about today and the here and now, its not a rehearsal for tomorrow.
So in that vein - I have an hour left child-free - let's see what I can do...
Moam
Moam - so pleased for you xx0 -
Thanks Lil_me.. he is currently destroying his room.. I just hope his destroying is confined to in there.
DD3 has been 'upset' by his carrying on and has stomped cereal into the kitchen floor which she has cleaned up.. She then shoved DD4 off the sofa because I made her do something. DS2 sneaked in so I didn't know he was in so spent 10 minutes looking for him and calling him, of course he never replied but he is in. DS1 came in with his mouth bleeding.. just badly chapped! DD1 came in sopping wet from the rail and hail!
Can it get 'more exciting' in here??!!!
I intend flouncing into school in Monday, I can't have this again.. the usual answer is 'it takes too long to write it down for everyone'.. the thing is.. they write it for themselves why can it not be photocopied for DS3 or even print an extra copy off the computer?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
