pigpen do know what you mean about mingling with grownups. Especially as the kids are getting older and you are getting more time for yourself.Hope it proves to be what you are looking for, and if not, you can always hand notice in and try something else. Couple of days shouldn't be too taxing.

moo2moo your school will not know what has hit it. Perhaps we should come with a warning. Flylady - licensed to chuck!

DS in bed - just grabbing a leftover lunch (some quiche, followed by a chickstick sarnie - will sort the freezer out so it is full of healthier stuff)

then i guess time to wash up, hang up that washing and tackle the ironing pile. Feeling better just from not having an imp attached to my ankles and switching off for ten minutes.

    See you all later x

    I have:
put the DW and WM on
    cleaned the chicken house
henrey'd our [strike]construction site with a bed in the middle[/strike] bedroom
s&s the bathroom and both loos
removed the worst of the dust downstairs
easten four jammy dodgers for lunch - I don't even like them

and I have 45 minutes left and I really can't be bothered to do anything else. Someone has pinched my motivation, mind you it could be hidden anywhere on the ground floor given the volume of mess we have....:o

Thanks for all the well wishes, tummy ache as eased a bit but not fully although i have had 2 ibuprofen and 2 paracetamol,i do hope my body settles with this coil, i was bad enough before, but the one thing that is bad now i am so damn moody with it. So gonna have to monitor that problem.

Skintscotlas, i was told thecoil wasn't painful, sometimes its not so bad but other days it is bad, really its just period cramps but at the minute i am bleeding every 12 days for 10 to 14 days and have cramps everyday that i am bleeding.

    Tiami whats the magnesium for?:o
also can anyone suggest a supplement for PMS???

Right as said earlier the kids had me up mega early and my mum had me dying her hair last night so didn't get to bed till after 12, my father come over at 9:15 and took the kids and told me to get an hours kip. So i did. :D Anyways Little man is now in bed i am refreshed so i am gonna make a start on the house.

I did put a load of washing out before i went back to bed, and made the bed before i got in it and i must be good now at this flying as i got up just before it rained and the washing was dry:T

    Hi everyone.

Johanne - big hugs to you. Everyone is right - look after yourself though as well. Thinking of you and all your family.

Pigpen - Congrats on your new job.

(Who else thinks she'll be running the place by the end of the first day)!!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

moo2moo - Glad you had a good first day, sounds like you enjoyed it.

    And.....we have booked our weekend in London!!:j :j :j :j

2 nights, minus kids (IL's having them). We're going on 9 May - so like a birthday treat for me as it'll be my birthday on the 6th. I'm so excited. So special thanks to: Soapie, embb, vivw, pigpen, skinktscotslass (think thats everyone) for all the Walkers points - we're using them for 2 nights for the price of 1 in a hotel when were down there. Managed to get a great deal on the train as well - £75 for both of us return. Very excited, but if I'm honest a little anxious leaving the children for that long. I know they'll be well looked after by the IL's - its more me missing them I think!!

Oil of evening primrose for PMS?? Or consult a homeopath.. I know a fab one I can put you in touch with if you wish.. :D.. She has been treating my brood for a few years.

My sister hates her coil she hasn't stopped bleeding since it was put in.. last October.. and the dr won't take it out yet. She is in agony with it.

I wouldn't have one gift wrapped I think they are barbaric..

    Afternoon ladies.

Johanne I am so sorry to hear of your FIL passing. He sounds like an amazing man who touched many peoples lives and I know you are one of them. He will live on in all those people and in your little one.

Been to I**A and very disappointing it was too. I only spent £15 which was good though. We've had hail here which will have washed my lawn feed in nicely.

I feel really tired and still have DS1 coming back later, football meeting for DS2 and cricket meeting for DS1 and 2. DH due home really late.

Going to hoover and mop hall and kitchen floors and put new rug stop down and water the hall plants - that may well be it.

DS3 bedroom cannot be entered as there is a camp bed filling the tiny bit of floor he has. DS1 just needs a quick going over so will do tomorrow - DS2 needs to tidy his again before I can get in there.
