 new bit of lino sent too small
They have an hour to phone meor I will turn into a really furious person who is annoyed that a/ she had to wait for one of their "specialists"to come out to measure up b/ had to wait 2 weeks for the 1st replacement, c/ they gave me the wrong fitting day and I was waiting round like a numpty all day for nobody to show up, d/ the fitter showed up at 1pm and he was supposed to be here "in the morning".
sorry and thanks - I feel better for getting that off my chest...

Nikki - regarding school wear, Michelle's advice is spot on. I however wear black trousers all year round but thats because I keep a black jacket in my office in case at anytime I need to appear smarter. Also means that of parents evening I don't have to change - just putting on the jacket makes me look professional. Almost any top can go with that except o course anything low cutWe don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0

Regarding school attire.. I always find it quite.. unpleasant.. when you go to school and the teachers have their innards as outards.. I think the students actually have a different attitude towards them if they dress formally rather than casually.. it also makes a difference to how the parents respond to them as well.. Some schools have dress codes anyway for the staff.. not a uniform but a list of what not to wear!! Or at least the 2 high schools mine attend do.
DS2 and Tiddles have just been kicked out of the bathroom .. Ds2 was 'OCD' washing his hands.. and tiddles was just slopping in the sink like 3 year olds do.. I can't leave him for 5 minutes.. he is worse than her!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

And even more impressive, I did a spot of floor finding in our bedroom whilst neighbours was on, there is a green carpet in there!Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
i got pushed over by someone's trolley in ikea....dangerous places!! on the positive side though - every draw in my house is organised. i've given 19 bags of 'stuff' to the charity shop in the last five weeks. my children (7 and 8) have really started helping out in the house and i've had lots of great days out with friends which i don't normally have time to do
xx
Oooooh, nasty! At least you can look on the bright side of things.
Off to do the last thing on today's list!0 -
I've done EVERYTHING on the list today. Somebody please polish my halo (e-cloths only please)!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
