    Evening All

Snow has all disappeared here & just looks wet and gloomy outside.

Have been really really good and cleaned kitchen from top to bottom. Cleaned on top of all the cupboards and have laid newspaper so wont have to do that particular job again.

Need to empty dw and sort out something for tea, think might be tuna sandwiches.

Must get up early tomorrow to get a head start on the paperwork as have debt factoring man coming around. Also need to phone oh's solicitor about his mitigation for his speeding offence.

Hope you have a lovely evening. Kids have got another week and a bit off so they love sunday evenings at the mom.

    Just a quicky

Well, congratulations to you again Buffy for such a beautiful photo. It is not the monetary worth of a gift, it is the thought behind it - I am sure your friends will appreciate your sentiment.

dlb - sorry about the football result but expect you are so proud of him anyway!

Have signed up for the Yahoo group and knitted my first 8 x 8 today.

Take care and love and hugs to all. Watch this space when I hope kitchen pictures will finally be linked to photobucket!!!!!!!!!

Havent had a chance to post for a while, but still been reading....

Very quiet day, often end up with a house-full on a sunday, but just my family today.

Ordered "stardrops" so have got to read up on that thread to see what you are all raving about! will arrive in on-line shop tomorrow.

Dont think I am likely to have a very money saving week as children off for school hols, and my car has to have MOT. EEEkkkk!!

Had a look at some of the other boards last night. DFW was very helpful, think their challenge to make £10 a day sounds great. Tried the free bingo that they suggest. didnt win, but we had a laugh!!!

there is a lot of arguing going on in the "house price" board. they are all very scary on there!!!!

Just popped in to thank Arkonite for the snickerdoodle recipe!:T Just made a batch of the fruity ones and they are delish! I really don't think they are going to last long around here so I may be making up some more tomorrow! :D Might try the 2nd recipe as well.

Glad that you liked the snickerdoodles :D Hope the second recipe turns out ok, I haven't tried it yet. Let me know what they are like if you make them ;)

DH and I drove DD to Newcastle to take some of her heavy stuff back to uni early.

It started to snow but does not seem to be settling!

DDs thought it hilarious that I was knitting a square in the car!

Now have three and a half for Smoky.

Had a nice Sunday lunch before getting back home and now on here with a pot of tea! Bliss!

Nice to see you posting and hang on in there.

You're right there Bessy, its a fab area, but oh so pricy. I couldn't afford to buy my own house if it was for sale now. Ridiculous isn't it!

The snow soon stopped, and disappeared.

    :hello: hello everyone,

well the essay is still not finished...but only 500 words to go, and I should be able to lose that in my conclusion. I have sweat blood and tears over this literally today. at one point I had to go to bed because I had such a sore head I thought I was going to throw up...just about to print it out to look for any bits i need to add before I write the ending.

DS seems pretty down, as I mentioned him and girl friend seem to be having problems but I dont know what.....but he did spend all day with her so it cant be too bad.
DD seems to have found a boyfriend  and spent all day at his house where she has just told me she ate cauliflower and turnip for tea...two veggies I have never managed to get her to eat! thats love for you.

we had some roast pork for tea which we just had on sandwiches since there was only two of us.

not sure what time I'll get to bed tonight...got until 12 midday to get this sorted once and for all......

Evening...we made it back oop north safely :D

Pootled around the New Forest this morning and then spent a few hours at Beaulieu wandering around the motor museum, house and gardens. On our way to collect DD, we visited Hythe marina and saw the huge cruise ship that is at Southampton

    Back to reality tomorrow.

Love and hugs to all :grouphug:
