Morning Chums well it's not snowing yet in my part of North Kent ,but I don't think it will be long as the sky is looking very peculiar at the moment .I have my sis-in-law staying with me for a couple of days, and she could change the weather in the Sahara.
I once went to Spain with her, and it hadn't rained for three months, and blow me if it didn't start to chuck it down within a couple of hours. I could loan her out as a rainmaker I think. bearing in mind we had 18c on Friday and it's now down to about 5c Lol.
We aren't going far today ,just a bit of card-making this morning then off to my DD's for lunch this afternoon and a few games with the little ones.
<<Hugs to those in need >> and a bigto the rest of you.
Take care all

Good morning everyone,
Well DS came running up the stairs to say it was snowing - ive come downstairs to see a few flakes amoungst the blue skies, and its now stopped!!! DD has missed it all!! Its not cold, and im not really expecting anymore - would be nice tho, we dont get it down here very often.
No plans today at all, so i think a PJ day for me!! Will want to do some cleaning upstairs later, but can do that before i have a nice bath.
Will be making roast beef for lunch, and at some point i think we will be having a hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream yummy!!! And now my DW is working, wont have to worry about the dishes YEAH!!!
If anyone didnt see last nights thread, DSs team WON their football match yesterday, so we are so proud of them, have finished second in their league and will be in the top division next season. DS scored 2 goals, even tho he was playing in defence (score 6 - 1). Will send him out to get the local paper later, as they have the results in there, so he will be down as a scorer.
((HUGS)) to Smokey and Martyn, glad you got a better nights sleep last night Martyn!!!

My garden this morning
It was a bit big so I had to resize, then it blurred a bit and got darker:rolleyes:
Just done my clinkalinkables, I'm up to £158.88
We're going to church today, Master tru's friend is playing the drums and we promised to go - just to see him
I have a stye in my left eye - not on the edge of the eyelid like normal people, nooooooo mine has be inside  It was really painful yesterday so I scrubbed my hands then popped it. It's back this morning but very tiny and no pain.
Not sure what we're doing later, probably watching a film. We recorded Idle Hands last night, very funny film about a teen with a possessed handBulletproof0 -
Morning everyone,
Well it's not snowing here either and I very much doubt that it will. But it is raining. Had showers most of the day and it's cold as well. I've been thoroughly lazy today. Finished some crocheting, re-arranged our spare/office room. DH dropped the sofa bed on my foot  it somehow was my fault
  I swore at him.
Off to re-heat some tea shortly (leftovers) and do DH pack- up. I didn't get the bean bag pattern drafted as the one I had downloaded didn't have the radius so I'm searching for another to no avail. Sigh. Not my day.
gin I hope your baby gets better soon. It's awful when they get sick. <hugs>
N9eav I have a cheapy breadmaker as I only ever use the dough setting. I prefer to cook in in the oven in a loaf tin without the big hole in it.I usually bake cakes or biscuits when I bake the bread.

Proper snowing here in west london - we are supposed to be going on holiday tomorrow so fingers crossed that the trains don't go "EEEEEEK an inch of snow! We're not going out in that." We;re going to Camber Sands and I know they're are at least a couple of Hastings Ladies here - what's it like your end ladies?
Plans today are to clean and pack for the holiday - I have already made a couple of snow angels with dd(11) this morning so that's me and the snow done for the day.

DD(17) is off on her hols tomorrow with her boyfriend.....it'll be her first time away on her own!! She's going to London for the week, so she'll be spending the day no doubt packing every single item of clothing she owns!! :rotfl:

Morning all.
Its snowed a little here overnight, but now we have lovely sunshine, it looks so pretty.
Had a busy day yesterday, cleared dd bedroom out, sort all the toys that shes outgrown out and will be giving them to a friend of dh, for the little girl they have just adopted.
Today we are off to Ashfield??? For ds3 semi final cup match, this will be a hard match as they are top of the leauge, but this means nothing in a cup match.!! Fingers crossed after ds1 got throught to his age groups finals last weekend that we will do the double and will be celerbrating later!!
Well done to Catowens ds on his match yesterday, the local paper is so important to them isnt it, we have to do the same!
Right off for a quick coffee and tidy round before we leave , have a wonderful snowey day everyone

Well, it's snowing now! My garden looks lovely - I've taken some pics but still don't know how to upload on to here. I'll have a fiddle around with Picasa later. DS2 has just phoned up to make sure we had noticed it. He and his GF about to introduce their little kitten to it! DGS and DGD will be beside themselves with excitement - they've never seen it but then DS2 at 26 has never seen it like this! The school holidays here have just started so the children will all be praying it lasts. It does look so pretty, doesn't it?
Hope everyone is enjoying it. Poor AUSSIE - no snow!
Anyway, off to put the kettle on and take more pics!
See you.

Morning everyone - it's stopped snowing, but we have a good couple of inches coverage
I love snow :j
Didn't manage to post yesterday as we started prepping the lounge for decorating. Foolishly the last time we decorated we had a border up, we couldn't remove the glue so just painted over itSo we have been sanding like crazy and all the walls are now smooth. Today will be filling and sanding (again  ) day - the dust gets everywhere  Hopefully tomorrow DH will be able to give the walls a base coat and then we're good to go
Need to crack on with 2 loads of ironing before the dust starts flying around again. Dinner tonight will be roast chicken and all the trimmings.
Well done Master Catowen :T
Gin - hope your baby is better soon
Have a great day everyone (((((hugs)))))Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0
