Hmm i don't think it's too much topping..... but i wouldn't have my oven so high. Ill maybe try it again. I just wondered if it actually is a pizza stone as im not sure how one should look. (goes to google!)A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Feel free to move this, but couldn't find the answer.
I have a lasagne ready to go in the oven. Don't really want to do it on it's own, but not sure what I can bake at the same time. I could put it on the upper shelf, and maybe muffins or a cake on the lower shelf, but all my recipes are for maybe gas mark 4 and I usually do lasagne at gas mark 6.
I have most baking ingredients in, so I'm open to suggestions please.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Garlic bread is a good idea, but I don't really want to make bread today. Have spuds to use up, so was going to part cook jackets in the microwave and let them finish in the oven.

Sometimes it takes real genius to point out the obvious.
Essentially the reduction of complex scenarios by manipulating a multitude of logical matrices in a holistic, often intuitive manner.

I do a fruit crumble as it also goes on at gas mark 6 for 30 minutes, so you have tea sorted!0

I keep forgetting about totally filling the oven (I'm not too bad but could use more). I usually have at least 2 trays going with dinners (roasts or things like oven chips and meatballs/chicken goujons kind of meals). But I have a rack that hangs off the door and one tray that fits it properly, and I use that for baked potatoes sometimes. I should sometimes put the goujons there and use the oven tray for some baking.
My second oven, with 4 shelves, is much narrower, so I can't use all of my trays in it. But I have a casserole that does fit, 4 baking trays now, and just bought 4 trays that each hold 6 muffins (rather than my 12 hole muffin, and 12 hole mince pie, trays that only go int eh big oven). So I am looking forward to christening those - I use the muffin tray for fairy cakes a lot so now I can do those in the smaller oven too.
I really like the idea of the veggie peels making stock, as I make stock anyway with chicken carcasses (usually on stove or in slow-cooker) but could do plain veggie in the oven on the base which would be useful.GC 2010 €6,000/ €5,897
