I made roasted beetroot/onion and toms in balsamic vinegar the other night and put a lemon curd cake in at same time..................I can taste /smell the onions off the cake so wont be doing that again, maybe stick to one type of food and freeze the extra.C.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z #7 member N.I splinter-group co-ordinater

I manage it fairly regularly. In part, I try to plan oven meals for Sunday when I do baking and try to prep other things for the week ahead. However, I also do things like bung in peppers to roast for a meal later in the week, or pre-cook any veg that needs roasting for soup. It doesn't happen every time, but I do try to think about if there is anything else I will need the oven for that week that I could do ahead. The roasted veggies for soups work quite well as I then just bung them in the fridge and it saves time on the night in question.0
