Hi all,
I can’t get some of the formula to work on the spreadsheet. If I try & change it & ‘unlock’ the file, it asks for a password. What password? My own to open my computer does not work. Do you have any ideas?
Thank you0 -
I would also like the 'password' to unlock the excel spreadsheet. When I try to unlock it, it won't let me. What is the password or is there a workaround? I am on a Mac. Thanks.Question: On the income spreadsheet it refers to a "calorie Counter" for self-employed tax and NI, but I cannot find any further detail about this. What is it and where can it be found?
Suggestion: Why not just post the spreadsheet password, then those who are familiar with Excel can use Unprotect to adapt the spreadsheet to their own requirements.

Please, please can you send it to me? Thank you.simoncowen88 wrote: »Hi there, I downloaded the budget and found some sections that i needed missing and others that weren't applicable to me, this isn't to say the spreadsheet wasn't any good! It was! It is!
But I decided to use this budget as a template to create my own budget, the main thing being to add a section where it can be filled in on a day by day basis and then calculate for me how much i am spending per week / month / year.
If anyone would like my humble attempt at improving upon the budget (at least for my circumstances) then I would be more than happy to send it to you!
Also, does anyone know if i can upload it onto this site for people to take off as they wish?
Thanks

Please can you post the link again? That one doesn't work anymore. Thank you.0

We basically want it to be editable! It is currently locked. I agree to sections for notes. E.g I just read some people do the 50,30,20 rule & I'd like to pop that in a text box on there.
50/30/20 rule:
50% Housing, Bills, Food (i.e the 'important' shelter, warmth, nourishment that keeps you alive)
30% 'Fun' - eating out/luxury foods, music, books, socialising, anything that doesn't keep you alive but keeps you having a life
20% Savings & Pensions0 -
how do you post a laughing reply to this ??
just wondering.

Hello Forumites!
On different occasions in different threads people have mentioned their "Spreadsheet".
I have something similar that details my various savings and investments as separate tables in Microsoft Word.
Admittedly that's a little primitive as I must manually edit it all once a month which can be time-consuming.
Would anyone be willing to forward me a copy of their own BLANK Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or similar? This could then be populated by my own headings and numbers, which presumably add themselves up as subtotals and a grand-total automatically across sections?
