Hi- can anyone suggest a free budget program that will let me input income and expenditure both monthly and four weekly?
We get paid four weekly and I set up standing orders four weekly, but most direct debits- especially for utilities- go out monthly. I've not found anything that'll let me use both inputs. Help please?!

I modified the MSE budget planner to allow transactions to be recorded & compare against budget - it may not do all you want but could be a start - if you use excel & are comfortable using macro's, send me a PM with your email & I will mail you a copy.

Yes Please I would like a copy of the monthly food planner. I am new to this and anything at all that will make me save money is welcomed.

    Thank you

    Certainly would :)
  • Hi, the budget brain budget planner is really good and has helped me in a lot of ways, especially cutting back on a few things. I was overspending by £250 a month and have now got it down to £246 underspend!!
  • Hi

Does anyone know how to retrieve a saved budget planner? I completed one a few weeks back, but can't find where to log-on to it. It took a while and don't fancy having to do it all again!

    Thanks

  • Hi

Did you manage to figure it out? I've had the same problem and it's very frustrating!

  • Hi,
I have downloaded the spreadsheet version but it doesn't really work for me as my monthly and weekly spend is never really the same. Does anyone know where i can find a sheet that I can enter my spend as I spend it, and so keep track of how much money I have at any given time please?
    Thanks

The new budget brain site is really useful, but the addition of two extra things would be useful:

    a) Two separate columns for inputting amounts - one for amounts where you know it's 'x' amount every month (i.e. TV licence, council tax etc.), and one for amounts which you are budgetting (i.e. food, petrol etc.) - I'm getting a bit confused with it all!

    b) A tick box or suchlike next to the individual categories where you can indicate whether an amount you've included is 'estimated'.

    Just suggestions....
  • I worked out my budget a couple of days ago and was wondering if anyone can recommend a site / spreadsheet where I can put in how much I have spent and get information of how much I have left / how long I have until I have more?

    Thanks
