I also use Sipgate for my main incoming number. I don't have voicemail enabled on that, as it's not fair on my callers to be charged for no answer and get through to voicemail, so I have another Sipgate number that is just for voicemail, therefore if there is no answer on my usual Sipgate number they can call my voicemail number if they want to leave a message.

VoIP Cheap emailed me not too long ago and said the do hope to allow ATA use so that those of use who have dropped the landline can use them as a replacement.

Can you let us all know when Voip Cheap allow ATA access?

I'm 99p in credit, I don't know where my 1p went, unless it was testing it to a chargeable number briefly, as I only use it for free calls at the moment.

Just got a free incoming number, didn't have a choice of area as it takes the location from your registered details, so now I have an 0121 660 nnnn number.
Got it sorted but am curious as to the location of my inbound number +445601xxxxxx. Is this a regarded as a national rate geographic number? Any thoughts?

I would say yes, in fact if they sign up with someone like 1899.com it will cost just 3p per call irrespective of duration. Good this VOIP thing, eh?

This range of numbers will be classed just like 01 and 02 numbers, and will be included in the call packages.

As been said 18866 charge just 3p to this number, free on packages that include free calls, and free from VoIP Cheap.
