I'm off to clean kitchen, and house, hoovering and polishing, hope to put washing out on line.
Want to cut grass and clean car later

Morning Everyone
((Hugs)) to Smoky and Martyn, hope you both got some sleep.
I'm going out tonight with DH, my dad is babysitting so we can go and have a meal with my sis and her partner after they come back from Aintree. Just a tiny bit jealous as I love going to the National.
Plans for the day include sorting out our bets and doing a shop at Aldi. My stepbro is coming round later on to make a plan for the kitchen renovations which is exciting. Better go and get dd bedding in the wash.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Well, its raining here in York so my planned day in the garden is going to have to be put on hold! Im off to the library this morning to collect a book I ordered online to read, will pop to newsagents on way back to see if any newspapers have coupons in and then I think I will have a good sort out of all the families shoes as the pile is threatening to overtake the house! Ill bag them up to drop off at shoebank later. If it does dry up a bit I might go and have a look at the horrors that have accumilated in the garage at the bottom of the garden - it is long overdue a tidy up and there must be loads of stuff I can take to the tip! I need to pop to the supermarket sometime today but i'll fit that in whenever!MFW 2011 challenge - Aim: Overpay £414.26 a month/£5,000 a year. Good morning all, (((hugs)) to those that need one, :hello: to everyone else.
This should probably have been posted on yesterdays thread but I was too tired. Anyway, yesterday using a recipe from here, I made a loaf of HM by hand, and it was delicious :-)0 -
Good morning all!
Well I got up expecting poor weather and it's beautiful in London ( at the moment, fingers crossed) Sunny and lovely blue skies. Hope they've got the forecast wrong;)
Thanks for all the hugs for DH yesterday, and from what a lot of you were saying, it's obviously easier to break bones than I ever thought:D Hope your DH is OK mrsmortenharket. Despite the hospital saying there's no harm in walking on his foot, I think I'll encourage DH not to do so much today, because it was VERY swollen last night and the painkillers could barely take the edge off.
Not sure what to do today now, since I was planning for the event of a bad weather weekend.I only have a small pile of ironing ( hardly worth calling it a pile really:rotfl: )
so that won't take long. I've got to do some baking because the biscuit and cake tins are empty, and the boys are bound to call over at some point this weekend.
Where's Aussie with today's photo fix?
Just taken a phone call. DS2 had a power cut last night, it came back early hours of this morning and has gone off again! Going to go get DGSs and bring them back here. Their gas cooker won't work without the power, so she can't do much in the way of hot stuff for them. Think that settles my day.... playing:D
Enjoy your days, and Good Luck master catowen, hope you win your match!

morning all
Good luck to your son, Catowen, in the footie. I am a footie fan, the tele will be on most of the weekend while I sit in front of it watching that ball go up and down the field!! I'm also tempted to try the £25 stake to Betfair for the grand national that you get refunded that Martin suggested. Has anyone else had a go at this? There is a horse running with my son's name. 'Simon', and am tempted to have a flutter, well it would be rude not to take Martin's advice wouldnt it??

Ive picked Simon (think its great, a horse having a proper name!!!) DD has picked King Johns Castle, and DS Philson Run - hopefully they will all do well!!!
Finally finished my clicks, off for a shower, get dressed and then we are out the door - have a great day everyone xxx
Oh - redruby - where abouts are you in Devon? We used to live there, over the boarder now in Cornwall!!!0 -
Morning All
At work, which is highly unusual for a Saturday and I'm not loving it at all, as I normally wake up at 9am, but had to get up at 5am.
Went to see Thriller Live last night, and it was fantastic. Highly recommemded should it come near you.
Got some letters to write before I go home to try and get the flat sorted.
No other plans for the weekend really
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -

CHURCHMOUSE - :hello: :hello: :hello:
MARTYN - (((Hugs))) to you.
REDRUBY - where in Devon are you? That's my DS's home county. He was born in Plymouth and was brought up - apart from stints in Malta and the Middle East (his Dad was in the Navy) - in Totnes and Newton Abbot. We love Devon and visit often because he has a brother there and several aunties and cousins.
MRS MIX -hope you and DD get better soon.
WHATATWIT - the sun is beaming here at the moment - hope it is in Totton. You'll like Lymington, it's very olde worlde in places with lovely, but expensive, shops. Should you get to Eastleigh I shall be wearing my favourite brooch - a blue and white enamel of a 1920s lady holding a little white dog! Should be easy to spot! The charity shops there are really good.
Well, I hope everyone gets some of this sunshinee. Right now it's lovely but there are some ominous looking clouds about.
Well, I think I'll get the washing out. See you all later.

Hi everyone. Only been up since just before 9. OH brought me a cuppa just before going out-won't be back til about 6ish tonight. Kids are at their dads' til tomorrow so it's just me and tonnes of housework, washing, ireoning, decorating, etc etc. Got some stuff finishing on ebay today too-could do with the money.
Nice to hear from you last night Smoky. As everyone else has already said, knowing the right words to say is very hard-nay on impossible. You will be on autopilot for a while, it must be very difficult for you, but you will get through it and we are all here for you and praying for you. (((hugs))).
(((hugs))) to Martyn too hope you are ok.
