<<<<<<HUGS>>>>>>>>to you both.
You are so brave & I understand every word & sentiment of what you have posted. Family & health are everything & you need to do whatever is necessary to protect that!!
I wish you so much support & you have friends on here that you can confide in. Whatever happens look at your family & realise that thats what matters...nothing else!!!
Take care of them over the next few days & explain the situation to your children...you will be surprised how much support they will give you back. Kids are `tough cookies` but I`m sure you know this already.
Post when you can...see this next few days as a positive route to a new life.
Take care, Angelxxx0 -
Hi Forestpottsy- I don't think I'd tell the children just yet if they are likely to come into contact with customers who you don't want to know. It sounds like you are taking very positive steps and you will be okay even though it may not look like it now. I wish you the very best! x

As mentioned it WILL be aok!
Try to ensure (you probably have this covered anyway!) that you take as much paperwork as you can carry to do with the business! And I know that you are trying to keep stuff from the kids, but I think that when it comes to the crunch, kids are far more forgiving/bouncy/accepting etc than we are as adults!
Best of luck

WELL, we have booked a court date, Wednesday 7th May, so our last day of trading is the Tuesday night.
Our area manager, yet another new one, knows we are leaving but thinks its in 6 months, we aren't about to give them teh chance to move first!!!
Most of our stuff is now in storage with one last lot to go tomorrow. We have bought a caravan so me and the kids are going to the coast for the summer as we have got a seasonal pitch on a site we know well. Hubby will continue working during the week and come up at weekends. As he is already established in his job they have said he can have the week off that we go BR. Should be towing the caravan up next week to get sorted on site ready to just Foff on the Wednesday.
Was quite amusing as we had a bailiff round yesterday for a payment arrangement we had made and defaulted on (was due 23rd, he turned up yesterday, quick off the mark or what?). He asked to go upstairs to assess the value of things. I told him to go right ahead. His face was a picture when he realised we'd moved everything bar the beds out!!!! He was quite ok and laughed when he said he'd have to ring the council (who the debt is to) and tell them they couldn't have anything.
Having made the decision we feel so much better. Just a little confused as to what to put on the IandE forms as we don't yet know what these are going to be. We have to pay the seasons rent up front to get a seasonal pitch and the discount that goes with it. Can we get away with making out we pay it kmonthly in order to up our outgoings? Otherwise our outgoings are going to be v v small.0 -
Well done on your positive attitude, fp.
I particularily liked the way you 'dealt with' the Bailiff. :rotfl: :rotfl:
Good luck for the 7th of May.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

I'm not really sure what to put on the I&E forms but when your circumstances change you should be able to submit a new I&E at that time. I would also explain why your expenditure is low at the moment. What about Elec & gas etc. is that included in your pitch fee?

I would put down what the site fees are each week, and list electric n gas seperatly. What about your hubby, wheres he going to stay in the week??? Will he pay for B/B or friends place?? that will need listing too.
Good Luck with the forth coming BR, as they say bin there done it got a t-shirt. It will b ok, just seems like its hard at the start, but it will get better.BSC member 137

All joking aside, I congratulate you on taking the initiative. :T :T

Hiya
Sorry if im hijacking but i would also like to ask some advice. I have a relative who has bought a 10 year lease for a free house.
It transpires that the "landlord" has 25k secured debt on the pub and the bailiffs have been round knocking.
The landlord has emigtared to NZ.
SHould the worse happen, where does my relative stand as a fully paid up tenant?
Many thanks
