If you google there are quite a few recipes for hm barbeque sauce. However if you want to buy one then the only one I use (once in a blue moon) is the Jack Daniels Barbeque sauce. Its quite strong so I mix it with some brown sugar and tom ketchup. Its lovely and definately as good in the one in our local American restaurant. It isnt cheap though.0

Equal parts coca cola & tomato sauce makes a nice bbq sauce - sounds strange but once you've tried it it's lovely:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0

My Mum makes the most gorgeous barbeque sauce by putting a jar of pasatta (or a tin of chopped tomatoes) with a finely chopped onion, garlic to taste, worcester sauce, a teaspoon of sugar and a tablespoon of vinegar in with whatever she's cooking. Sometimes she puts a pinch of chilli in too. I make the sauce in advance then add it to chicken, pork or whatever I'm using. Its not a hard & fast recipe I generally keep tasting it and add extras as I go along. Usually its the chilli/sugar/vinegar that I adjust. HTH

Hi Mrs7ones,
There's an earlier thread with recipes for making barbeque sauce that should help so I've added your thread to it to keep the suggestions together.
