It's a few years since I've eaten in one now, and that was on one of their lunchtime specials where you could eat as much as you like (salad/pasta) plus a glass of wine for £4.95 but I did enjoy it and the food was good with a pleasant atmosphere.

I don't know if they set a national standard, or whether individual restaurants do their own thing, but based on my own experience I would recommend them :)

We've been a few times and really enjoyed it. The food is really tasty and you can see the chefs preparing it as the kitchen is open plan. I would recommend it too.

I've been to the one in Ashford, Kent about 4 times now. Everytime we've had to send at least one meal back and on the last occassion we walked out in disgust.

I did write a letter of complaint and they sent us a meal voucher for the same place.......yeah right - like i'm ever going back there!!!!

i absolutly adore frankie and bennys, i'd eat their food everyday if i could afford it. we actually went there for the first time since having my baby, and my god, i forgot how good it is. I don't actually eat alot but when i go there i eat all 3 courses, although i could just sit there and eat the garlic bread with cheese all day. I am now going to go sit in the corner and reminise about my meal.

  • I have collected some chicken wings and want to make a barbecue sauce to go with these, but try as I might, I can't find a recipe that would be suitable for these.

    Any help anyone???

An all round BBQ sauce recipe would be fine as I like this!! :D
