welcome Ch1ca, hope you enjoy your planning feel free to share as much as you like with us we love wedding chat.
We've found out some others are coming to our wedding, not because they're returned their rsvp's with menu choices but because they've booked their accomodation. Oh well i'm sure the little card will arrive soon.0 -
Well we've had 2 acceptances and 1 decline for the evening... Everyone has said they'll be coming to the meal apart from 1 aunt who is a bit indecisive. If I ever get invited to a wedding again I will definitely RSVP!
We popped into our venue yesterday to show the in laws (the good ones) Just happened to see the co-ordinator so she showed us around and we made another payment.... She's a bit flaky though, if we agree anything over the phone she doesn't write it down and then has no recollection of it which is starting to wear a bit thin!
Got an appointment with the Pastor who is marrying us on the 5th August so should know how things will pan out after that.... And we have provisionally booked the rehearsal but waiting for a call back to confirm. 9 weeks now!!!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

we've received a few more replies, but mostly for the evening. I'm starting to worry we won't even get 50 for the day do.
wrestling OH away from his mother this weekend, i'm raring for the fight lol
only 59 days to go for us now!0 -
Good luck with the MIL wrestling... I've made OH responsible for the seating arrangements now... Nobody wants to sit on a table with his mother (who can blame them?!) and I managed to work it out with oblong tables but OH prefers the round ones... I told him he can do it!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Couple of new developments... I'm sitting here wearing contact lenses... Only took me 5 mins to put them in this morning too! Have 8 weeks to practise but am a little concerned about putting them in / taking them out with my full set of gel nails on the day, might have to employ a friends services!
And I was wondering around clinton cards the other day when I heard a woman on the phone to her friend 'They've got some pale blue and white wedding cake boxes reduced to 49p for 5 here do you want any?' Having settled for wrapping cake in serviettes for people to take away due to the cost of boxes... I couldn't help myself... I siddled over to the shelf and grabbed 8 packs before she finished her phone call... I felt bad for doing it... Briefly... But a bargain is a bargain... Going to check out the other shop in town next time I'm there see if they have any but I think it's really old stock.... Still there's 40 people that can take their cake away in a box!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Well done with the contacts Krystal. I've been wearing them for over 20 years and I still have trouble getting them out at times - usually in direct response to alcohol consumption.
You shouldn't have any problems when you have your nails on as long as you get your eye open far enough. If they are daily ones you won't even have to worry about them flicking on the floor :rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Lol! I tried a way yesterday that might work and didn't need my eye open very wide, I used both forefingers, started with 1 each side and just slid them together so the contact just scrunched up and popped out, even though my eye was doing its best to try and close!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I hold my open with the hand opposite the eye and kind of nip the lens off my eye with the other hand - for reason its only been the last couple of years where I haven't had to stand in front of a mirror to take them out - which is daft as I have the other eye shut so can't see anything :rotfl:.
Saying that if you have standard size lenses you won't have to have your eye open very wide i have an astigmatism in one eye so I have to have extra large lenses.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Me too! But only slight so can wear standard lenses... Although due to the shape of my eye I have to have the flatter ones... Ie.. Not the cheap ones! They just sucker themselves to my cornea within minutes... Placed my order for some acuvue moist today....A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... i'd been wondering about contacts, but my problem is i need reactions/ tints in glasses so heaven know's how i'll cope either with or without glasses. maybe i should visit the opticians, now that makes my blood run cold!
Ps managed to get OH away from his mother, not much of a fight, although she was trying to insist we visited before the wedding, and demanded to know what was left to be done when i said there was too much too do. i think i may have said when asked this question for the second time 'we'll we can't just turn up on the day we've got lots of jobs to do'. guess you could say she was bugging me towards the end.0
