Kitten's settled in really well, existing cat wasn't keen but she's a wimp.... Running away a bit less now... And will eat her tea while kittens in the room but I think it will be a while till they're curled up together....

We're getting our Dad's pocket watches and getting them engraved... OH with something heartfelt... Mine with something funny... Getting my Mom a rose bush in a pot or something... His mom's getting a thousand curses... But we're not sure what to do for his step Mom... She's absolutely lovely, and she's making our cake (spent the whole weekend talking about it, can't wait!!) We were going to get her a willow tree figurine, there's one that means thank you... But we got on to the subject of ornaments at the weekend and she said she absolutely hates them, they're just dust catchers... So back to the drawing board really....
Ideas anyone?

Hi everyone! Just had a few days away to get over DS2s illness - claimed insurance off our ruined holiday that we spent in hospital! We all slept most of the time so I think we needed it!
So still to do...finish bridesmaids dresses
find them some shoes
find me some shoes
oh !!!!!!, find the boys some shoes
flowers
post the invites, add some maps and things first
lose the 6lb I put on last week eating choccie and sitting on my bum
did I mention flowers? oh yes.
Pay everybody. EEK.
Confirm vows, find music, confirm caterers etc
think about what to do with my hair, buy tiara
have discovered that the suits will all need cufflinks
sort out somewhere for the dog, cos all the people that would have her will be with us
and hundreds of other things that I cant think of at the mo

Hi everyone

Not been on for while Internet at work was down then just got back from my hen week.

Had a fantastic holiday (apart from falling over on my first day and being covered in cuts and scrapes, and yes I was sober!!)

I went for my weigh in last night and I have put on 5lbs :mad: not too surprised though as it is over 2 weeks and I ate nothing but rubbish while away and since got back, I am back on track now though and back at the gym.

It's only 12 weeks tomorrow until the big day :j time is flying by and I still have so much to do, need to see if florist will do just button holes and corsages as my bouquet and bridesmaids were too expensive plus I have hayfever so thought artificial flowers were best way to go for those

Main worry is having to pay for everything, all final payments are close to eachother so credit card will be coming out to help i think (0% til next year so safe with that)

Have my bridesmaid dress fittings tomorrow which should be fun as one put 10lbs on while on hen week!! She said she will tell them to use her original measurements :rotfl:

Still doesn't seem quite real, it's hard to imagine me being someone's wife but I am so excited and can't wait, I made a vest top using rhinestones with Mrs .... on to wear at airport so people know we're newlyweds - may add 'just married' to the back of it. OH mum loves it, we get on so well and she can't wait for me to also be known as Mrs.... like her.

Have to update my 'to do list' this weekend so I can get on top of everything, I keep thinking I have plenty of time but time is going so fast.

That's a good idea with the vest top... I might get my gem magic out! (Should really, I've only used it once since I impulse bought it)

we've sent out the invites now, just waiting for the RSVP's. why can't people realise we want them back the next day ! lol
i can't believe it's so soon until the wedding i have started to look around for something to do, i've spent so much of my time of the past few months working on stationery i'm at loss as to how fill my time now. Guess i'll have to start practicing with my shoes now

I've got my RSVP's in now - my family took a lot longer than OH's to reply.

I've been at a bit of a loss for something to do so have taken up knitting again. My friend will be a grandma in October and has asked for some help so she's even providing the wool - very MSE for me :rotfl:

funnily enough i've picked up some cross stitch again, now the stationery has been done. OH family appear never to have seen an RSVP and even giving them full instructions appears to have flumoxed them. Those in Italy have decided they will tell me 2 weeks before the wedding - I don't think so!!!!!
