Hi SDW - and all you others basking in the sun. This morning when I woke I thought it had snowed, on closer inspection it was hailstrones as big as peas covering the ground. It is now midday, warmer and they are still there as whole as when they fell. Weird.....

Sleet and snow all day so far in North Wales, only sticking on the higher hills though. One reason is the wind - the sleet is horizontal!

Staying cwtched up in the house, although I have hoovered though and washed the kitchen floor/

The hailstones are still there. Had to go out early this morning for a dentist appointment in town. Our wind and sleet was horrendous - hurried back and I ain't going no place else today.

Oh 7DW - I am dying for some sun, my skin is so white, I am envious of your warmth. Its tipping it down again this afternoon rain and hailstones again. Easter is promising to be a total wash out according to the weather phrophets (sp) I bet Donny-Gal wishes she was back, they have snow up her way.

    Enjoy and think of friends!!!

Yes, the runway is also the main road into Gib.

Lovely place, imho. Interesting too. Most of the full-time residents speak Spanglish for everyday use. (although they can usually speak both English and Spanish as well.) Enjoy!

I've just skated some cash on a new mobile phone that I will be able to use with my hearing aids, allegedly ! I'll find out when it arrives. It's very irritating having to cough up £150 because I'm deaf, when mobeys for non-deafies are a tenner in Asda, but I wold be far more irritated if I couldn't afford it.
I shall watch the hearing aid thread with interest to see how you get on with it. Although I shall be SKIing another £70 on a new hearing aid because I seem to have lost another one! :o Good job I don't need it every day ...

We had hail as we drove into the airport car park yesterday! Fortunately it stopped before I had to get out, I'd left my coat at home and was wearing sandals ...

Overcast but lovely and warm if windy in Fuerteventura, I'm pleased to say. In the same apartment as last time, the only difference is that this time there are CHILDREN  in the pool (last time was adults only).

My sis emailed today to say my Mum's not well, D&V, she apologised for not saying yesterday but I'm jolly glad she didn't! Is that mean? I had enough to worry about yesterday ... just getting to the airport and through security, it was HEAVING!
