According to the news this morning - snow in Barcelona yesterday.
The weather here now, sunny but cold, is what it was like in Florida over Christmas. I'm fine now, with warm, winter clothes. My linens weren't too good.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.

Still rain and landslides here.
The Council put a new sign up on the side of the road with the village name on about a month ago. Quite a decorative one in keeping with the Mayor's new ethos to attract tourism to the area.
It's down in a ravine today.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
We had rain yesterday, but not torrential or anything bad. Cloud and sun today, got 3 loads of washing dry. While it has not been fantastic weather it has been mainly dry, more cloud, and some sunbathing days.

Talking of tourism SDW - I was checking out some holiday brochures for Spain, I think they were from Saga and one of the included trips was a visit to your village!! Is this something new? Don't envy Donny-Gal her trip to England. Guess no one is safe, not even in March. Its sunny here all week, but very cold.member # 12 of Skaters Club

Just a quicky to let you know had a good journey today, cold, but mainly dry it did try to snow a little around Teruel, powdery stuff blowing around and not settling, and again when we got through the Somport Tunnel, on the French side, but again not settling was -5C in places, virtually no traffic. Arrived Bordeaux soon.

I'm off to the Cairngorms ( Scotland) tomorrow. I gather there is still plenty of snow on the ground but roads are clear at the moment. I'm not going real ski-ing. I'm going on my first ever pensioners coach trip. I think I'll be the youngest. I do know some people so it's not exactly going on my own but DH is not coming as he is working.0

Home again!
Good journey, and a very plesant stay in a exclusive B&B in a "Royal" town. Lunch with DS before returning north, good journey even with the M1 with more of a 50mph restriction than not!
Unfortunately we lost my Dad last Tuesday while we were away, so have to do some organising now for the funeral on Thursday. A blessing in many ways as he was almost 90 and had been in severe dementia for the last 7 years.
