Orange broadband massive saving for loyal customer

HORRANGE offloaded shed loads of customers last year becos, apparently, they weren't making enuf money; when I migrated my connection last Sept. they made no attempt to keep me. They only wanted LLU customers who they could sell the whole B/Band & telephone package to, and then jack the prices up for all others.
It appears from the deals being now offered by HORRANGE Retentions that they were TOO successful; too many people upped and migrated.
I'm just glad I got out when I did.0 -
I think Orange stink, and when our contract is up, we're off!I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
Cripes, I'm paying £27 for orange 8mb uncapped and with the free secondary phone line.
Cost wasn't an issue before as my company paid for it. now they are withdrawing the privilege as they say broadband is common place such as water and electricity!
so yes time to haggle with them!!
Looking about similar packages are in the £12-£17 region, but not many with the free secondary line.
Well it worked without any agro.
Offered of £17.99 a month and the next 3 months free.0 -
We're awaiting our Mac code, which is coming in the post, if the postie stops striking.
They offered me the opportunity to speak to customer retention, but I pointed out I had no desire to be retained, as no matter how good the deal is, if they can't provide me with a consistent service ~ 6 calls in 2 weeks to tech support, and the Livebox still can't maintain a wireless signal ~ the deals are pointless.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Must say when I did have a problem with the livebox - the VoIP secondary line packed up - they were useless - but this was over the phone. All they did was quote the script and kept asking me to reset it etc.
I wrote in the end, and got a reply the same day and a replacement box two days later.
I changed my phone number and again I corresponded my E-mail and everything was switched over instantly. BT quoted 10 days.
I've never had a problem with connectivity or service other than these two call within the last 8 years. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones! I know I'm still paying a bit more than some deals out there but the actual broadband service is excellent.0
