My 2 yr old put salt & vinegar on his fish, "like they do in the chip shop". Except that his were goldfish in a bowl. Not for long though!!!! Still, he's growing out of the terrible two's now- He's just turned 27. :rotfl:

I take it you got no takers then Rob? :rotfl:

I could offer you a week's holiday in Edinburgh to get away from it all but you would need to do all my outstanding DIY jobs :D

    I'm tempted.......boy I'm tempted !!

Mrsmondragon, he sounds just like my eldest.

He's 16 now, but before he was five he'd:

Poured cornflakes, milk, sugar in the middle of the kitchen floor (2am)
poured milkshake powder and milk in the middle of the kitchen floor (2am)

recoloured kitchen worktops with black shoe dye, having beaten teh childproof cupboard locks (afternoon, we'd put a lock on the kitchen door by then)

smashed each window pane in his bedroom window (having witnessed daddy breaking out loose glass to replace pane)

painted his bedroom door with his baby brothers nappy.

Painted his baby brother with magnolia matt emulsion (he did a very nice job)

Took all step daddy's keys one by one in the loo, including his alarm turner offer key ring.

Had a BBQ on his bed, taking out the top half of the house.

I'm sure other more insignificantly scream free incidents will be recalled as this thread continues.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

There was talk of selling this child.
I don't think you could give him away. (in both the meanings of "give away")

    V wise, much more predictable.

Please, please, please don't be misled by the poster who said that it would get better.

It gets different, but not better. At least it hasn't in the 22yrs that I have been waiting for improvement. Different, yes, but more hassle in other ways.

I can't see an end in sight!

oh my god.. i just have to say thankyou to everyone that has posted as I now know that my child is normal. Only today me and the other half were talking about whether we need to get our eldest ( 2 and a half years old) in to see someone as we just cant believe how much he is destroying and more to the point costing us, but now I feel much happier knowing that he's okay. Here are a few of the things he has done in the last 12 months

After being put to bed one night, I heard a strange noise from upstairs, wen to investigate and found him stood there with his bedroom door in his hands off the hinges completely telling me that ' its broke mummy'! ( no sh#t sherlock!) ( and we have big heavy doors not modern light ones)

Daddy put him to bed for his afternoon nap and then went out to mow lawn. turned around at bottom of garden to find eldest stood there. other half though OMG i must have thought i put him to bed but actually forgot!!??? turned out eldest had prised apart the METAL WELDED bars on the safety gate and climbed through

Also found him downstairs at 3am one morning merrily going about his daily routine

took nappy off and decorated his bedroom with pooh many times

washed all the coal in the BBQ that had been left out in garden over winter

climbed up onto windowsill opened window and climbed out onto outside sill whilst completely butt naked

took a pound pack of butter out of fridge then proceeded to eat it came to tell me he had eaten the 'cheese'

has broken 2 hifi stereos just through his sheer strength

has recently taught younger brother of 1 and a half how to pad floor out with cushions making it possible to stand ontop of sideboard and sky dive off, flying past sofa onto the floor

the list is endless ... we should rite a book.. infact think i will copyright that idea!! :D
:EasterBun ...what more do I need to say?!
its all in the name of medical science.

I've just been downstairs to fill me glass ! I can smell something in the back room.

Not sure what it is yet.....I can't find anything suspiscious. No obvious signs...........like poo on the floor

I wonder if the little darling has "emptied his water barrel" again in there

Never mind..........he's already ruined the floor in there

    I'm past caring now !
