The £6 a month is taken from your account at the end of each month.

I applyed 3 days ago for a advantage gold account (after reading this thread), I was told on screen they would look at my application. This morning a letter arrived saying my application was successful, just need to send them ID now :j

Should add my credit history is fair and I only have a nationwide flex account at the moment with no debit card.

I have SEEN gold cards for advantage gold but on the app there's no option to pick gold over normal service card so I am not sure how you'd go about getting one... Maybe Natwest don't offer them anymore?

We do a gold service card 250, this is available on any current account, but again its down to credit scoring etc. It seems very hard to get one, not many people have them, took me ages to get mine.
I work in a NatWest branch, any information I provide should be taken as general. See you local branch for advice, but any questions feel free to ask me.

Glad to see you are all getting your Nat West accounts ok.

I to, applied online and was accepted, sent the paperwork in and then heard nothing, I phoned, and it took 12 minutes to speak to the correct person and was told they had no record of me, yet I had an application ID number.

So the girl on the phone took down all my details again and sent me a new application pack, I was told on the phone that I would get a cheque book and debit card with the Advantage Blue account, £12 was a bit to much for banking.

I received the pack, and the only ID required was a wage slip from my employer showing my name & address. So to make sure, I visited my local Natwest branch, in Edinburgh, paid £3 for the privelage, and went in to the branch to hand my documents in.

I was taken to a room, and was told that the ID i brought was insufficient despite what the letter had said. Luckily I had another 3 wage slips and my driving license on me, he took photocopies and signed them.

I waited another 2 weeks and decided to phone. There computers are still showing the have received nothing from me, so I am awaiting another application pack to arrive.

Also, I have just checked my credit file and I have 2 recorded searches for the 2 applications.

    Getting rather annoyed now!

I applied for the advantage gold account, and was told online that it had been agreed in principle. Does that mean I will get an account? With a service card? Gold?

May still be only a solo card. Ad gold is mainly about the benefits you are paying for, it doesn't guarantee you a servicecard

Well my accounts fully open , and the benifits I will be paying for do seem well worth it! Already had to phone up , ask a couple of questions and found the staff very helpful , although I have locked myself out of internet banking already!
Salary starts going in next week and direct debits nearly all transfered over , so lets see...

I received a letter from Natwest inviting me to send my documents in, so I called the number on the letter, who told me that I would receive a 'cashcard'. Would i receive a normal debit card in time? How long?
