  • Yeah i have some credit issues 2 defaults and not the best of paymnt histories anyways i had a visa elctron for years now its like issue number 2828282828 and im 25 yrs old now its pathetic evrytime i wanted to upgrade i got my hopes up n got rejection letters, so i was online not long ago n got my first proper visa debit card with chequebook frm alliance and leicester which are ok obviously not as populor with the other banks but they started the ball rolling, and few weeks after i got my acc with them i was online again and applied for a natwest current plus account, was suprised online how it said they wanted to give me 100 overdraft limit and asked if i wanted more so obviously didnt wanna tinker with that left it and carried on withthe application........i was sent confirmation letter back with info packs with t's n c's etc, and i had to sign n send my bank details, which i did but they didnt accept it, so went into the bank where they sent a photocopy of my drivers lisence and then after a week i got a confrimation letter that i had been accepted,

    got a chequebook
    servicecard with 100 o/d limit

well pleased with that and feel like tellin halifax to shuv it but i guess like a horrible parent even tho i hate em im just lookin for acceptance

I was just looking for this thread again - I also recieved my welcome letter and a cheque book. Letter told me I would be reciveing a servicecard , so I called to check , and they said it was a maestro and cheque card. I started with A+L account , and then upgraded to a Premier account, so it must have helped build up my 'scores'.

Big day the morra wor kid, SAFC V NUFC, good luck.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Well I have now recieved my servicecard 100 and cheque book. I asked for Advantage gold (benifits will come in handy!). Havent said that cheque book and card make it look like a standard account - judging by the leaflets they sent I thought the card was gold?

I have SEEN gold cards for advantage gold but on the app there's no option to pick gold over normal service card so I am not sure how you'd go about getting one... Maybe Natwest don't offer them anymore?

I applied for an advantage gold account and I have an appalling credit history. Got a form back to sign and I'm not sure if it's worthwhile going through all of the hassle with rejection etc. what do you think my chances are of getting the account?
  • in the post just after receivinn my card i got the advantage blue package, game me two cinema cards and some more things t's n c's to read,

my question is i know its 6 pounds a month but how do they take that amount..is it just debited from your card every month,
and does any1 have advantage gold would like to hear if thats any good obviously is fulla more features but they dnt have the 2fr1 cinema tickets lol which is definetly a bonus for movie lovers like me,

natwest should do another advantage scheme where the customer picks out hes/her own advantages.....so u can have the best of both worlds aswel as pay fr wat u really need....
