Mine was just a plain white loaf. It was a first attempt, though, so perhaps it was only to be expected that something went wrong. The bredmaker I have would be 2-3 years old, I think. Would you recommend adding a bt more water? Please call me 'Pickle'

Yup. And I followed it to the letter. I'm just wondering how to stop it happening a second time, that's all. I had to physically dig the paddle out of the bottom of the loaf, you see: it baked into it! :rolleyes:Please call me 'Pickle'

:rotfl:Mine's been here for ages. Someone gave it to my mum but she left it sat under the stairs for months until I got vexed with having yet another electrical appliance sitting under the stairs, doing nothing. I pulled it out and followed the instructions to make a white loaf. It was nice, but pretty dense, and the paddle stuck in the bottom! I can persevere, but my one problem with it is that the loaves that come out of it are tiny and I could really do with one that makes 'normal' sized loaves as we make lots of sandiwches in this hosue and people just ignore small loaves and don't really use them. I could do with getting one that makes decent sized loaves really, and selling this one.
Which breadmaker have you got? Please call me 'Pickle'
