That's it I'm going to get the Panasonic one too (not the one with the dispenser though). Wish they had it in silver, white doesn't match my other appliances.0

Not received any e-mail yet and it still says it is waiting to be dispatched! It had better hurry up as I am moving soon. :eek:0 -
I complained to them about this the other day. When they move the status to dispatching soon you cannot cancel or change the order if it is taking too long. My order was on dispatching soon for 3 days and when I asked them why it had taken 3 days they said it had been out of stock.I would e-mail them and ask for a dispatch date. The customer service were very helpful when I did this.0

Hi, just got the new Makro mail. There is a Morphy Richards graphite compact breadmaker advertised for £29.99 available from Wednesday 11 March. It gives the SSSP of £99.99 with an introductory price of £39.99, on offer for £29.99. It shows the "Which" Best Buy Breadmakers July 2008. Only gives a 1.5lb loaf capacity. As I am new to breadmaking is this a very compact size?0

Thanks for this. I have now e-mailed Amazon and will keep this thread updated.0 -
Well that was quick as I have just received a response from Amazon. They say that as soon as they receive stock of this item from their supplier, they will dispatch my order. It should be dispatched March 19. Did you e-mail Amazon Recovering Spendaholic? Please let me know how you get on.0

My husband bought me a Panasonic bread maker for just under £100 8 years ago. It is still going strong. I would definitely recommend Panasonic. It is lovely waking up in the morning to freshly smelt bread. Shop bread just doesn't taste the same anymore.
The only time I buy shop bread is for my boys' sandwiches for school/nursery and I only buy it when it is on offer - three of two.
If you choose to go for another make make sure there is no glass top to it, as this can cause dampness to the top of the bread.

Im looking at getting a breadmaker.
I have been looking at a few and i don;t really know what im looking for.
Basically i want fresh bread but it would be nice to not be tied to one type as in rock solid crust, i also want to use the bread for sandwiches etc for the kids. I would like also the dough option so i can bang out a few pizzas but would need something that say could be programmed in advance - as in so that it is finished at say 4pm.
I have been looking at the Panasonic SD254 Breadmaker which does seem to get good reviews but am wondering if anyone has experience of this particular model or indeed can recommend another?
Thanks0 -
I have the Panasonic and love it.
I have never had a dud loaf and the bread is gorgeous.
