Hi Hev!!!!:hello:
Someone listens to me -Ooohhh!
Have just lugged back a load of shopping from Lidl and seeking inspirartion for tea.
DD(19) loved the fruit cake I made last night so might make some more tomorrow. The fact that it is made in the BM frees up my titchy oven for other things.
Made DH cheese on toast for lunch and I had fish but feel bloated now!
DD had salad and chicken tortillas which she enjoyed."This site is addictive!"

Hi Hev - welcome to the best thread on here but, as RedRuby says, watch out for the mad ones - there's one in OZ in particular that I have in mind. She thinks she's safe because she's thousands of miles away! Well done, Elona, on recruiting a newbie!
Well, I've finished the ironing - it took an hour and a half and, since my NY's resolution not to let it build up, that is a long time now! Still, it's all done - until the next time, of course!
I have also caught up on a lot of paperwork - it just needs filing now which I'm not inclined to do today!
Tonight we have minced beef, onions, mushrooms and leeks with new boiled pots and gravy; we should have had it last night but the day ran away with me and we ended up with a Chicago Town Pepperoni Pile-Up pizza - the only shop-bought pizza I like - for dinner and some yellow-stickered fresh cream slices for pudding. In fact, we should have the mince in a pie but I can't be bothered to make the pastry now and I don't have any in the freezer! It's one of those 'can't be-a***ed' days today and I only want to do things I really enjoy like read, knit and eat chocolate!
Anyway, the weather has been glorious all afternoon - can't quite believe it. I hope it is for everyone else.
Well, I suppose I'd better whizz the hoover round - I dropped the hole-punch and all the little discs of paper fell out like confetti!
See you all later.
Well done on the weight-loss, Charlie's Mum!
Haribo - hope your cat turns up. I had one that always went walkabout in the early Spring for a day or two but he always walked back in as though nothing had happened - so hopefully yours has just done the same.

Hello Hev - we like newbies in here - fresh blood to convert
Tru - loving that running away smilie - it made me giggle.
Well sitting down was boring so I did nana muffins, tray bake, fairy cakes, bread, roasted a chicken and a gammon joint and cleared up after myself.
Gammon will go through my new (to me) mincer and get mixed with mustard mayo as a sarnie filling, chicken will go in a curried chicken quiche later in the week with the other meat being frozen down for next week.
Got another batch of yog on the go - kids can't get enough of it, DD1 made her own musli style pot of breakfast up with bran/corn flakes/oats/dried fruit/nuts/choccy drops/crushed weetabix in and is having it every morning with yougert mixed in.....she finds one type of cereal far to boring.
Going to take advantage of the lighter evening and go for a walk after dinner - DDs will take their bikes and we'll have a stroll along the cliffs.
Have a great evening all."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Nope. She only nips out to piddle and spends 23.9 hours a day on DD's bed. She never leaves the garden so I can't undersatnd it. I fear she's a goner.
Charlie's mum... Well done on munching all those Easter eggs. :beer:0 -
I did a tru last night at my BIL. Threw a tray with a plate, 2 phones and some other bits on it, while screaming 'NO I DO NOT WANT A !£$%^&* CUP OF TEA. I'M GOING TO !£$%^&* BED'. I broke one of the phones  but I've fixed it now.
Don't worry, you're all safe from me, the only person who's going to get hit is my BIL. He's a powerlifter and very muscley so he won't be expecting it from a 5' 2" woman.
Haribo, our cat wandered off the week before Christmas. Haven't seen him since.Bulletproof0
