  • Evening all :) Will catch up with the thread in a minute, am very late on here today!

(((hugs))) to anyone who needs them today

Its been one of those days where you feel you haven't stopped rushing round but haven't actually got anything done lol. Been up since 6am and took OH to station for 8.15am to catch his train to Glasgow, had to go to the bank to take money out but it wasn't open til 9.30am - treated myself to a latte and a muffin in Costa whilst i was waiting, very relaxing just watching the world go by, could have stayed all day lol :D Then to the bathroom place, its now all paid for and is arriving tomorrow :j Also got the plans for the kitchen through from Howdens, i'm in :happyhear its gorgeous! Rushed round doing some more errands then back home to be faced with the washing up and a messy house - i have done some but it doesn't look any better :rotfl:

Tea is cowboy pie from freezer so nice and easy, then a bath and early night i think :)

    Take care all

*Ooh forgot, bargain find in the charity shop on way to the bank - BNWT pair of River Island combats for £3.25 - in my size!!! Amazed i got them on tbh with a 5 month bump lol

    Hello all :hello:

Phew I've just read the whole thread and it's just mental!! I can never keep up. Good to see that everyone is doing OK.

This morning I went to the dentist. It hurt both physically and financially. Sometimes I think these guys ENJOY poking us with their spikey tools where it hurts most. And oh the money!!! OK so the fee was only £16.20 - but there was the antibiotics on top of that - another £10.35 !

From there I went to a cheapo shop for cleaning stuff. As some of you will know, I'm moving soon. And tomorrow is cleaning day at the new house. Well this cheered me up, I found a bottle of STARDROPS !!! :j There was also a white Starclen, a pink Startips and a green Starpine. But I just got the original.

So been looking at the Stardrops thread but am a bit confused as to how much to use when you dilute it. How many parts of water to each part of Stardrops?

Ooooh you have no idea how much I envy you!!! My SIL is the complete opposite. Everything has to be brand-new and the more expensive the better, no matter the quality. Once I mentioned that when we have a baby we'll probably use our best friends' moses basket and she looked at me, completely disgusted, "you can't have a used moses basket for your first!!" well I can and I WILL.

TBH, all that wouldn't matter if she wasn't such a b!tch in every other aspect too :(

    Evening everyone

I have had such a productive day I have just checked in the mirror to make sure its me!

I've done two loads of washing and got it dry, got a chicken soupy/casseroley thingy in the SC and its made with my own chicken stock too. BM has just beeped to tell me bread is ready, have a weetabix loaf in the oven. Hoovered all through and dusted.

And...I went for an interview today - nice job but even if I don't get it, the interview was great, none of those 'what are your weaknesses' or 'tell me about a time..........etc'

And... I finished the shawl I was crocheting for my daughter who is having my first grandchild in June. Haven't done any crochet for about 20 years so am pleased its turned out ok.

And...my wally trolley was delivered today, pretty good as I didn't order it till Sunday.

    Phewwwwwwwwww

    What do you mean

    "A slow cooker OR a breadmaker!":rotfl:

By the time we finish with hev she will have a slow cooker AND a breadmaker at the very least!!!;)

Have a cross between a pastryless quiche and a baked Spanish omelette in the oven.

All made out of eggs, cheese an onion and a la leftovers!!!!(gammon, boiled potatoes )

Fingers crossed that it turns out all right.

    Evening Guys!

Had a busy and tiring day today between 2 hospital visits and the nurse coming in:rolleyes:

I have just been reading on the relationship board about a mum worried about her 14yr DD and what she is getting up to with her BF. Im glad DD isnt at this age yet, but I honestly dont know what I would do if I found out DD had been doing this kind of stuff:eek:    ......I know it would be something to do with Stardrops though:rotfl: ....sorry...it really isnt funny!

2 washloads done, DW emptied and toilet cleaned.

Haribo-Sorry about your cat and hope it comes back soon.

    Hugs to all.

    Hello All,:hello:

Not been on for a couple of days, had a new computer system at work and I forgot my password for MSE so it chucked me off! Finally got my password again today - yeah!!

Was back to work on Monday after 2 weeks off, new computer and new building, this one is open plan and I am sat next to my boss (who I don't really get on with) so it could be interesting!_pale_

Not much OS happened today, too busy at work!

Hugs to those in need, special mention to Smoky & Martyn.

Good luck for those going into hospital or had to visit the vampire!

Haribo, hope your cat shows up soon.

Take care all, have a good evening.

    Evening all,

Sunny day here some of the time, but didn't put out the sweaters I had washed as they would have been in danger of landing in the next county.

Had a lovely dinner to-day of pork chop, mash and cauliflower cheese...browned in oven, actually that was mostly what I had as I don't do that kind of thing often enough...OH not mad about cauliflower, but the present DDs and I love it, so he was over-ruled.

Hugs to Smoky and family and all others in need or want and welcome to all newbies.

Haribo...hope Puss comes home soon...I worry about ours as if he were a child!
