Haribo...hope Puss comes home soon...I worry about ours as if he were a child!
Marie
We have searched the entire garden. We have scoured the road with a hundred yard radius of our house. We have lifted every bed and emptied every wardrobe and cupboardbut no sign.
I just sat down in the kitchen and she sauntered down the flippin stairs. I thought it was a ghost cat.
Where the blinking blank was she?
Why has the cat that eats twice her own bodyweight in whiskas everyday not been looking for food? Are cats capable of playing April fool's jokes?

I'm confused but relieved. Sorry to have worried you all.
Haribo x0 -
haribo, im so glad puss has reappeared:TSPC~12 ot 124

Evening All
Many Thanks for the well wishes for OH's hospital visit. Once there we only waited for half hour which was good but the constultant doesnt know what is wrong with him at the mom so they have booked an appointment for him to have a camera have a look around his bladder and take some cell biopsies. Now you can imagine the way the camera has to go and they only give you local anasthetic gel so he is not looking foward to that one!!
Once home I did loads of paperwork (hate end of months) though no ironing so that will be priority for tomorrow.
Haribo - I do hope your cat does turn up soon, ours does disappear on a regular basis but it is horrible until they are home safe.
Off now going to have a nice soak in the bath.
x
Haribo - excellent news :j - I like the thought of a cat playing an April Fools Joke :rotfl:0 -
Evening everyone
i`ve finally managed to catch up with todays thread.
Haribo - i`m glad your little cat turned up safe & sound, i worry about mine if i don`t know where she is, she`s a real homey cat and doesn`t wander.
I`m off to bed for an early night tonight cos i`m whacked, when i got home i went straight into the kitchen and made scones and the beanburgers from a recipe on one of the other threads and i must say they were lovely.
We had the burgers with mixed salad and beetroot and i`ll definitely make them again.
The houndies are now walked and i`ve just got a bit more to do in the kitchen then i`m allowed one glass of wine before i turn in, i feel like reading a good book but last time i read in bed i ended up staying awake all night reading as i needed to find out what happened lol.
The book i have lined up is called Marley and me and DH has just read it so thats something to look forward to for another day.
Have a nice evening everyone.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon

What do you mean
"A slow cooker OR a breadmaker!":rotfl:
By the time we finish with hev she will have a slow cooker AND a breadmaker at the very least!!!;)
.
Quickly dipping back in, what a lovely place.
Already have a slow cooker. And a breadmaker. And a yoghurt maker, steamer, popcorn maker, icecream maker, electric blender, just got rid of the huge food processor due to space issues.
Got loads of gadgets, because a few years back I dislocated both shoulders and was quite poorly. DH was fantastic, but had to get his stress out somehow, so he bought kitchen gadgets.
These have been significantly added to since I found Lakeland
Sent another order off today, but no gadgets this time. Just a box for DS toys and some cloths and a box for the bathroom...
Haribo - ours hides under the wardrobe and at the bottom of the airing cupboard. They have their ways.
Look forward to coming back here!Always another chapter0 -
For Haribo
Do you think they have seen me ?
Sunnyday I have read Marley and me, get your tissues ready, I sobbed at the end, definatly one for dog lovers xx0 -
Evening all.
Falling asleep as I'm sat here, so bear with me.
Am now working full time again. Have been doing 30 hours over 4 days since November 2006, so going back to five days a week is going to be a shock to the system. Am also commuting again now, so 2 hours on a coach. Eeh, its all fun!
New job is going well, am really enjoying it.
Jet - hope you enjoy your new role too.
Hugs to anyone who wants/needs them

Hi There
Well, having had the 3 boys for 2 nights very busy. They totally kicked off when DD came to collect them yesterday but were absolutely fab when here! Actually I remember that when the odd time I palmed them off (very rare) DS and DD - angels until I appeared.
Have done a fair bit of housework today. Kitchen (buffing off still the excess grout) and getting down to the dust in the other rooms. Also got the hoover out.
Not been able to access computer today as DH has a huge project to complete. I told him at one point to walk away as too much time on the screen. Just about to go down and put on a huge slow cooker pot of Lidls stewing steak (on offer from yesterday). Off tomorrow to celebrate our darling DGS2 third birthday! I remember having the phone call just after midnight so I was there for DGS1. I got there far too soon - thank goodness there were no speed cops that night! DGS2 took about another 12 hours to arrive! Thank goodness I wasn't on call for DGS3 - he arrived less than 2 hours after the first phone call to the other Grandparents - 40 minutes away!
Love and hugs to all and sorry I haven't been reading! I am totally knackered!

PS Right well, just found out we are at the Zoo tomorrow for DGS2 birthday outing!!!!! I used to have a yearly pass for the zoo when in my teens. Hope forecast OK for tomorrow!!!!!!0 -
Hello again everybody :hello:
Welcome hev :j :j I must confess I was nosey so went off to read the thread from which elona sent you here
Ah, we're alright over here
As for the kitchen gadgets, I don't have that many but then I do have quite limited space. I was recently stupid enough to buy a steamer that doesn't nest for storage - what was I thinking? I love what it does - it's great, especially for fish and veg - but I've got nowhere to store it
Haribo, I'm glad Puss turned up safe and sound
Essex-girl - I hope the tests go well for your DH - hmmm that camera doesn't sound great - even as a woman it made me go  and "clench"
JackieO - good to know the treatment is almost done. I hope that'll be all they need to do
Just spotted VickyA's post from this morning:
You do realise that by making a hair appointment, you caused the rainI'm up really early. Yes, truly I am.
I'm having my hair cut at 8.45am and I was planning on walking down to the hairdresser, however it is now raining... so I'm still trying to decide whether I should be good or not.

I have cleaned the kitchen, and the living room is nearly tidy! Dishwasher has been on (mostly with stuff that's been sitting there since Sunday
) and is now half-full again. There's a steadily growing pile of recyclable paper in the middle of the living room which I keep chucking things onto. I'm just about to make a batch of macaroni cheese (had to wait for the dishwasher to finish before I could retrieve the grater and my large Pyrex dish!)
Am currently indulging in a lovely glass of rosé and watching telly.
Hugs to all. Smoky, I hope you and the little ones are still hanging in there. Come back soon and say hello, won't you, as we do worry
Love Rzl xx
