Bails, if your OH is working and you are unable to work then you should be able to claim working tax credits against his income. If it's a low income, you may be entitled to housing benefit or similar and that would mean you would be entitled to sign for your prescriptions (I think). Whave you checked out the 'entitled to' website? I don't have the link at the moment but will try to find it asap. Gotta dash, 2nd batch of 50 mini sponges just went 'ding'! :)

Frittered about £10 away on my travels on stuff I didn't need (refreshments mainly). Nasty letter from work too - totally uncalled for.

Good: Got some cheap new pots and compost for the 2 potted Xmas trees from last Christmas.

Better: Have actually managed to successfully report the trees. They look really nice. And have new buds (had them before we repotted!). Hopefully will be able to keep them alive for this year's festivities. Have to have a real tree and it gets decorated at beg Dec. Also it's now raining on them which is great as we're on a water meter.
Best: Got 3 authentic retro shirts today. One a fab colour for the suit but not good for the wedding, one okay colour. Third bright orange but is in the washing machine being dyed as I type.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

This is the same Shaz. There is a creche and thats the only way my niece was able to go. As for me....I'm fifty this year  and I don't think that I will be needing it.:rotfl: :rotfl:

My friend celebrated her silver wedding and 50th birthday with a cruise. She thought she had picked up a dodgy tummy bug but tests revealed her first baby will be born in 22 weeks. All is well and she can't wait.

OMG Janey I am so, so sorry! I'm stunned by your news, as will everyone else be - please accept my sincerest sympathies and if there is anything at all we can do to help you through this, PM me. :grouphug: I know dodgey hugs won't help at such an awful time but we're all sending you hugs and loads of support however we can.

Janey, that is such a shock. As Nyk says if there is anything at all we can do please let us know. I can't even begin to understand how you must be feeling at the moment, I hope you have someone there with you for support and are not dealing with this on your own. If you need to vent your emotions we are all here for you I'm sure.

Janey, just to second what everyone else has said, I'm so stunned by your news. You are in my thoughts at this hard time. If there's anything we can do, just ask. xxx
