Wow Sophiesmum all looks so neat and organised. Yes the link did work.
All of you in the Bingo. I went on live web chat and my comp couldn't handle it together with the Bingo so got kicked out and can't get back in. I will try again after ten so catch up with you then if you are still there.
BAILS - WELCOME BACK!!! I am so glad you had great time!"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Well done Marru! You've got me sucked back in now, tut tut!
Guys, guys, guys, there's really not going to be a proposal, I'm sure about that!
Gardens are all looking great guys, mine is well behind but to be honest I'll just be glad if I can eat any of it. Next year I'll have much more of a clue, and a greenhouse to help! The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Why do all of your potatoes look smaller than my 'trees'? Maybe there aren't any potatoes underneath. How tall do potato plants usually grow? Mine are about 3 feet tall:eek:
Hi Skintwellie, hope you are doing OK and I'm wondering if you are remembering to cover up the bottom of the plants as they grow so there's less showing above the soil level? My plants are probably about 3 feet tall now but have about a foot of soil piled up around them as this means more potatoes. Also, any potatoes that get exposed to sunlight and turn green are poisonous so we need to be careful to keep them all covered up. I think you can use black bags over the top too.
Janey - I thought the following fairy related site might be of interest to you. I couldn't help but laugh at the tiny pods you can book for camping in at the faeryfest! :rotfl: How cute are they?! http://www.mysticfayre.co.uk
Watched Big Brother and the nearest contestant to here is the blind guy from Kilwinning. I'm guessing the transvestite beautician didn't make it through the finals (or perhaps it really was just a wind up!!!) :rotfl: I hate to say it but BB reminds me of one of those old fashioned freak shows! Padded cell, jail cell, mirrors & glass everywhere and The Da Vinci Code certainly won't have done the albino any favours! And did I really hear Davina refer to the "5 foot Thai cookie monster" (her description, not mine) as a 'pokemon'?? What sort of show is this?? And the old man of 20 who doesn't crave fame - what's he all about being in there? And the Stallone/Joey Tribbiani lovechild and his 'I flogged my Rolex to get her a boobjob' partner - partner, my foot! He looks more likely to end up with the dance student, in my opinion! Guess I'll need to force myself to watch more to find out if first impressions are anywhere close to the alleged truth. Don't you just hate watching BB? It's on par with playing free bingo and LOOK AT ME!! I'M DOING BOTH!! :rotfl:I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

Good Morning all,
Well i don't know if its going to be sunny here today but i do hope so!
Today Iam going to make a shepards pie from scratch before i go out and if i can stretch the mince i will make a spag bol sauce to stick in freezer, we will have shepards pie for tea tonight and whatever is left we will have tomorrow for lunch
I have made a meal plan for next month with a little help from MrsM over on the Grocery Challenge.
I have done a new SOA if you could all take a look then i would be grateful for any comments. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=958047
Have to take DS3 to Nursery today 1pm-3.30pm and in that time I will pop to Mr M and get all my Fruit and Veg in as my tokens have arrived. Im hoping not to spend more than £2 today on anything other than Fruit and Veg. I also have to pop into Netto as they are doing the big tin of quality streets for £4.99, mum wants me to pick her one up so she can take it back with her, apperently she is craving them :rotfl: But Iam either getting her some money out of her bank for when she is over to pay for them (i have her card) or Iam lending her the money
I have stopped smoking again today as trying to save what little money i have for next week when my Mum arrives :j But the doctor won't give me another perscription unless i email, fax all my details in, so im just going to pop into boots as they have a no smoking service :T
Can't believe it's Friday already and my mum will be here on Sunday night, I cant wait. Been told i need to make sure my house is clean for when she arrives
Oh and my potatoes i have had in draw for like 3 weeks now have not sprouted, so can't plant my potato in my compost yet :rotfl:
Ok i have rambled on about nothing as per usual.. Im now off to NYK's favorite place - The Stop Smoking Thread :rotfl:
Bye for now
Mumzy

Hi everyone
theres too much going on on here had 3 pages to read
mumzy 1 plant per bucket is fine i assume they are upright tomatoes if they are tumbling/cherry i put 2 plants in (i have baby green tomatoes on mine)
also why do you have potatoes in a drawer.......................aah if you are trying to chit(sprout)them before planting they need to be in the light ........sorry........it isnt essential to do this though did you buy seed potatoes or using leftovers from kichen ,i think kitchen ones take longer but don't quote me
sophiesmum loving the piccies i had thought of hanging baskets for strawbs but was worried about reaching them it never occured to me to hang them lover................doh your goosegogs look fab i think the plant i bought is dead it was a supermarket one it was a bit dry when bought but thought it would be ok
somethings eating my strawbs its not birds as i have cage i think it may br rodents but it happened during the day i am taking stepd to protect my investment(traps)
