I seem to have been lucky with just one call so far.

I told them I'd entered the competition for my Grandchildren, she insisted it would be wonderful for them.

When she started talking about money I put on my stern voice( my DD says I shout at her without raising my voice:rotfl: )and told the women I'd entered a free competition and I was not prepared to pay for anything or give out my details over the phone. then said a firm Goodbye.

It must have worked because they've not phoned back.

My Child called me today but not to sell the CD's but to try and get me to subscribe to the magazine. I said no thanks and hung up.

I've been 'done' by them too - promised it was free but the letter said £9.00.

They're getting it returned and if they've charged by card they'll get a chargeback.

1....Keep receipts for posting parcel back to them as proof....

2....Keep checking your bank for Direct Debit/Standing Orders set up on it..

3....If you have internet banking check in every day and cancel it straight away if it has been set...(Told this by my bank)..If you dont just keep ringing your bank and check with them and they will stop it for you but they cant stop it till it's set up on your account...Mine was going to be £87 and with 5 kids I was having none of that..

Any phone harrasment USE YOUR WHISTLE...:rotfl:

I've just tramatised the poor women when she rang. I asked her why i would enter a maths tuition competition when my Son is learning disabled / autistic / dyslexic. The poor woman was mortified. I've been removed from their list ....

Mind you he did very much enjoy the DVD that I won on their site last week. I should have asked her to send a few more.

Just got this call about 5 mins ago .... promptly told her I was having my new kitchen fitted (which I am) and to call back in 2 weeks as I wasn't going to speak to her now.

I want to know how they got my home number as I only ever put my mobile number down when I enter competitions !!!! Will ask them when they ring back.

Sorry to sound dumb but how do you become a member? I only entered a competition but never signed up for anything else, I've not received anything in the post so what's with the membership? Maybe some kind soul will enlighten me so I know what to look out for !

    Thanks in advance xx
