They called me again today trying to flog the CD Roms.... :mad:

I rang them on Friday after being conned on Thursday to cancel the order. I was told it was cancelled and no money would come out of my account. Saturday the money came out :mad: . Monday the CD-Roms turned up. Spent over half an hour today trying to get through, ended up leaving my number and a short message. They rang me back within an hour and said I could send the discs back and would get a refund. I'm not going to hold my breath.:mad:

Nasty, pushy company that get very rude and quite aggressive.

I strongly recommend that no-one deals with them or enters their comps.

However, because I don't know what level they should be at for their age it is difficult to get them to practice at home, i.e., I could be getting them to read/write something which is far too simple. Why so many parents find it difficult to help their children with school work

Can you leave your child's education to the school?

How often do you attend a parent / teacher meeting? Once a term? Once or twice a year? I had a phone call yesterday asking if my husband was there and could they speak to him. I said he was and asked who was calling. "it's Tom (I think he said that) from MyChild". :mad: Well, I said to him that we'd asked for them to take our name and number off their list and to never contact us again, he seemed taken aback but said he was going to do that as he had a TPS button that he would press. Then I hung up. I went and spoke to my hubby who, bearing in mind he's a student studying to become a teacher, said that he'd tried to download some info from a site and it wouldn't work so emailed them. It was at this moment we both twigged :rotfl: . He'd gone onto the mychild website. Hubby won't be doing that again in a hurry. Serves them right I think!!!

same here no calls since i contacted tps, the last mychild comps i`ve entered I put xxxxxxxxxxx as my phone number (it worked) let them muppets try to call that number :rotfl: :rotfl:

:T Well done bizywizy. This has prompted me to send them an email asking where my refund is. Did you have to wait long for yours? I sent mine back on 24 April via Recorded Delivery, which was received at their office. So it's only been about 3 weeks for me...
