    (((smokey))))

    (((anniestar)))

Just had pea and ham soup for tea with a gammon sandwich.

Made jacket potato with beans and cheese for DD who did not fancy soup.

Need to start off another square of knitting tonight.

DHs laptop eventually got collected at 2.30 after waiting in all day.

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?
  • Hello all:hello: my first time on the daily chats, though i do post on the grocery challenges.
I was going to ask the same question r.mac. I adore soups and have got quite good at them recently. Pea and ham is lovely so i bet hm is even better.

Sorry for you all who are having a rough time/bad week.

Oh Anniestar - don't know what to say - do you think it's permanent?

quite a productive day today - have sown veggies for one square box - will do the rest in a couple of weeks in the hopes of avoiding gluts. The blanket box has been painted and still looks ..... shabby - hopefully the chic will come when i sand it down. Took dd and the bikes shopping and then found I'd left my purse at home. luckily dd18 lives near asda so she came to the rescue with a lend of £40 - have come back and put that back in her account online. Shopping came to much more than usual but there is a lot of fruit and veg so that me and dd11 can get back to healthy eating. It's still all sitting in the hall way as the fridge needs cleaning out before i put all the nice fresh stuff in.

just waiting for hollyoaks to finish and then we will have dinner - a quorn thingy for dd, steamed turkey breast for me with new pots and salad - oh dd's just done a quiz thingy out of her dr who magazine - the hero I am most like is Captain Jack apparantly.
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
