    Evening all!

I had a lovely afternoon. We drove just a little way down into Kent and had a pub lunch. Good job I offered to drive back and let DH have a beer, because as we walked back to the car he twisted his foot over the edge of a concrete path and went flying. He is now limping for England, but I have to admit it's quite swollen and turning a lovely shade of purple. Apparently, I'm not very gentle when rubbing in the arnica cream:o

Then DS3 came over to use our internet, they haven't got it on at the new flat yet. Bought me a nice big box of chocs:D Said to his father,*does this mean you won't be able to help me move the furniture about*:rotfl: :rotfl: He did then have the grace to look sheepish:D

Haribo, where are you? You can't still be up a mountain. If you're painting, you do have to put the brush down sometime. You must have exhausted your cooking ingredients. Or have you worn out DH:p If you don't post soon, I'll get Aussie onto you. Be afraid, be very afraid:rotfl: :rotfl:

((Anniestar))) hope it all works out. I expect he's just having a sulk, and will be back soon;)

DH is thirsty:rolleyes: I'm being a good wifey and will make him a cup of tea. Tonight only, he's on his own tomorrow:D

    CM

Oi Haribo!!! I go and put the kettle on, come back, go to index and you're posting on the shabby chic thread!!!!!!!! Get your bum over here now, this thread is your first duty:p :D
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

14517255.1moon.gif Bet you're sorry you asked to see me now. :p If I post will you stop stalking me? ;):D
Why doesn't it surprise me that you are a vigourous rubber?

Don't worry, I've been lurking. They can't get rid of me that easily. :D

Bigs Hugs to Annie. Hope things work out in the end.
    Enjoy your hols Candy girl.
    Feel better soon Wannasave. hug.gif

OS wise. I made 2 loaves today, did some gentle gardening, including making my friend a herb planter for her birthday and made kedgeree for tea.

I'm pooped now so have taken root in front of the fire with some [strike]easter eggs stolen from my children[/strike] chocolate. ;)

About time:D Yes I will stop stalking, but you could have replied before I edited my post. Making me look silly, and that's such a challenge:o :rotfl: :rotfl:

Didn't want to post again, so just editing to say (((((Pink))))))) , it does pass and they revert to human beings again, honestly;)

At the moment, I'm happy to settle for "Love me love my dog" but the thought of if/when that might be is just too much for me to consider.

Martyn. (climbs wearily back on the shelf for another hand of Solitaire :o )

Edit: and as if to reinforce that first thought, both of them have just laid down at my feet and given me a "don't worry dad, we'll be okay" look. I'm off again....:o

    Pen-pen....here you go. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=9471751&highlight=lemon+drizzle#post9471751

I made it as directed by r.mac, but my glaze didn't go crusty.
But, I googled Lemon Drizzle Cake and got the original Asda recipe....that said to pour on the glaze whilst the cake was hot....so take your pick, it was scrummy though.
I have also thought of doing it in muffic cases.

Moiliere I never looked that close  but if you say so I'm sure it is. :p:D

I've nearly finished my first square. I'll definatly finish it today and start another. Bit nippy here this morning again again. The blocks across the road are getting slashed now, why they come so early is beyond me. Lucky I was awake. :D

CM Oh well, look on the bright side, you have another excuse to slip on the nurse outfit. ;) Hope he's out of pain soon.
<big hugs> to all those feeling sad. There seems to be a lot today.
Candygirl Have a great holiday. Can't wait for the pics. :rotfl:
Whatawit You made me feel a touch ill then. :D
Haribo What is gentle gardening? :D

Hope you all have a good nights sleep. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

EDITED for bigs hugs to Pink. Hang in there, it gets better. Like in 10 years time. :)
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Honey men are like Buses ,if you miss one, there's always another one coming along behind,<<hugs>..
    Well, actually...

If you miss a bus, the best thing to do is start walking in the direction you need to go in! You're in control, it's more efficient, it's good for you, you might just enjoy the walk, and who knows - you might even coincide with another bus going your way a couple of stops further up the road ;)

OK that's as deep & meaningful as it gets for this evening - hugs to all those having relationship problems as it seems to be in the air at the moment!

Been to church, which was great, I loved singing it and there were loads of compliments for the choir! and I stayed to help with the washing-up which got rid of my guilt for not having taken a plate of anything for the buffet.

Earlier this evening it suddenly dawned on me that I think my mum is coming to stay on Friday night     which, as I am out Wed and Thur evenings, means I have to tidy and clean this place tomorrow :o

Martyn - your mum sounds like she should come on here and join us :D

    Love Rzl xx

    Love Rzl xx
