Hi all - just catching up with you after a busy day but, at last, I have my shiny new monitor and it's really fab! I thought my old one still had a great picture quality - even though it took half an hour to warm up in the mornings - but the picture on this one is crystal clear and sharp. It makes it feel as if it's a whole new PC!.

(((Hugs))) to ANNIESTAR - I do hope things work out for you.

SMOKY - thinking of you and the LOs. Hope you are all having some rest.

BETTERLATETHANNEVER - Welcome to you - you'll just love it here!

Well, I'm off to try and get some more knitting/crochet done but, really, I just want to look at this monitor for the rest of the night.

By the way, AUSSIE - do you think that was a sandwich bag that chap had wrapped it up in?!

    See you all later.

    KathyXX

Just edited to send (((hugs))) to PENPIN's DD and to ICECUBEQUEEN - hope tomorrow is better for you both.

Quick tip - put small heavy (non-liquid) items in your coat pockets.:o Iused to do that with my laptop batteries.:rotfl:

Don't forget you cannot have hand luggage and a handbag. Go for the hand luggage and pack your handbag.

To be honest your can get nearly all toileteries in the Spanish supermarkets now, so you could get when you cannot fit in.

Good evening you lovely bunch :T

After a good start this morning that went downhill disturbingly quickly and has since improved, I've just been on the 'phone to my dear old mum who's up in Yorkshire.

As a result of me telling her all about you lot, she wants me to pass on her thanks to all my surrogate mums out there for looking after me in her absence.

So, :T :A from my mum :D (and from me as well :o )

   I thank you :D

She probably thinks I've lost it completely due to me :rotfl: and spitting tea everywhere at your "All the Love in the world" line while I was talking to her. I fully intend to tip my hat to the sainted Bob and put "no direction and home..." in the back window of the motorhome

And I had to threaten her with being put in a home for doolally mothers if she dares to tell my dad that I'm learning to knit :o

Another thumbs up for the lemon drizzle cake posted by R.Mac my two have demolished half a loaf this afternoon.

Unfortunately, that's about the only OS thing I have achieved today.
I was at work until 2.30 and then nipped out with my mum...back to work for 5 until 7.15, tea this evening was thanks to Messrs M&S....chicken arrabiata and garlic bread...I had some ricotta & spinach ravioli.
Hangs head in shame and prepares to be evicted from OS. :D

    (((Anniestar)))
    (((smoky)))

Pen-Pin, I hope your DD is feeling a little better
Kyle, well done for keeping DS going and avoiding a hospital visit.
Candygirl, what is/was the rash
Aussie, be careful what you google for these piccies...you might end up with one of Katy
Martyn, does your mum know you've started knitting...should we start calling you Martine yet :rotfl:

Hugs to those in need not mentioned.
